Language formerly spoken in Maharashtra

Hello guys, I was wondering if anyone knew what branch of Dravidian was spoken in Maharashtra prior to sanskritization? I know it expanded over Kannada speaking regions but which branch of Dravidian was originally spoken by the actual main Marathi speaking core that Maharashtra prakirit developed within? I had a similar question about Sinhala as well, ik the Vedda language was probably one of the aasi isolates but given genetics and the high degree of Dravidian substrate was southern Sri Lanka initially speaking some form of early Tamil/South Dravidian or another extinct language/branch?

Classification of indo Aryan languages

Hey guys, had a question about how the sub classification of indo Aryan languages was done. It seems like eastern branch is based entirely on descendants of magadhan Prakrit and southern was based on descendants of Maharashtri Prakrit which makes sense. For the rest I really am seeing no rhyme or reason to how these were defined. Eastern Hindi languages come from ardhmagadhi prakirit but western Hindi comes from shauraseni Prakrit but for some reason are both central? Even more strangely western Hindi for some reason is placed in a different grouping than western indo Aryan (Rajasthan/gujarati) even though all 3 split from shauraseni prakirit. Northwestern also doesn’t make sense with Sindhi and Punjabi splitting from different prakirits. Dardic seems to be entirely geographic? And northern also makes no sense with western pahari seeming to actually be northwestern indo Aryan instead of northern. In terms of linguistic similarities the scores are not at all correlated to grouping either. The families don’t make sense if looked at geographically, linguistically or historically. Wondering if anyone has any idea what’s going on with this

SSN Timeline Help

Hello everyone. I am on a post-completion OPT. I am a Canadian and am starting a job on July 27 but I am still waiting for my EAD to arrive [I don't think it will till mid-july]. Is it possible for me to apply for a SSN prior to my EAD Arriving? When i went on the ssn application website they said all i needed was my passport, US drivers license, I20 and I94. However, online everyone seems to mention bringing your EAD. If not, does anyone know how long it takes for the number to arrive and if it is ok to start working prior to my SSN arriving?

November virtual osce

Hi all, I’m planning on taking the virtual osce in November and was wondering what people who took the exam most recently felt was the best choice in terms of what prep service to use. It seems like prep doctor and booster were 2 that were mentioned a lot so I was wondering which you guys felt were the best? I was also wondering if there was one that Canadian grads used the most, I went to school in the US so I wasn’t sure which was most popular with Canadian students themselves
