Accidentally made a blind joke about a blind guy

A couple times a year my local museum fires up their steam train to take people for rides around the museum grounds. While waiting in line, I see the train engineer walking towards the engine with a long white cane, tapping the ground as he walked. Having seen this prank (online) at airports numerous times, I say "it's a good thing you're not a pilot". I dont know whether he actually heard me or not, but shortly after that he answered a text on his phone, holding it about an inch away from his face. Here I thought I was acknowledging a dumb joke that no one else noticed... but in reality I was just making blind jokes at a blind guy. Ooof!

Is this just garbage now?

First time making sauerkraut, 2% salt, nothing else. Ate the first jar after a week but thought I'd leave the second jar to get a little more sour. Now its red/pink on top? Straight to the trash?

Whats everyone doing for spark plug wires that are discontinued?

I know I've seen sort of "universal" kits before, but that won't have a boot that seals against the valve cover. Found a cut in the insulation down to the conductor, and while the bike is still running, it does need to be replaced before it leaves me stranded.

After many years of use, my pocket knife is toast.

I dont know how long I've had this Gerber EAB lite, but its just denied it's last blade change. The screw is stripped out. It's opened many boxes, beers, packages. Did minor drywall repair, picked slivers, and split my fingertips more times than I can count.
