I had an online transaction on my Venture MC declined due to suspected fraud and my account was suspended until I could send my last three most recent bank statements. My progress:

--Bank statements sent (from my Fidelity Cash Management account)

--Statements rejected because the statements were labeled as Investment Reports

--Called Fidelity to ask for a letter to send to C1 saying these ARE bank statements

--Fidelity said they can't do that but the fine print on these reports says STATEMENTS over 10 times

--Sent email to richard.fairbank@capitalone.com with this information and screenshots of the fine print, asking them to remove suspension

--C1 called my husband's phone twice (once while I was out, the other at 6am my time which went to voicemail

--I called C1 back and they said my credit was revoked due to their inability to complete a verification. I told them that's why I'm calling them back; they said sorry, it's too late.

I also have 89K miles in suspension as well as an inability to use this account. What are my next steps? More C1 escalation? CFPB complaint? Thank you kind Redditors.

EDIT: C1 called back and gave us a “final answer” of denial since our Fidelity statements were from an investment institution, not a financial institution. I mean, come on. CFPB complaint coming.

I’ll be on the Lakes Route from St Margrethen to Lausanne next month and no doubt will have a need to lock my bike for a few minutes while stopping at Migros/Coop for picnic supplies. I have a 500g folding lock but I’d like to take something more lightweight like a Hiplock Z Lok or similar. Would this be sufficient or should I bring my more secure folding lock?

Dr E is now the head of GU medical oncology at OHSU in Portland. I am considering transferring my care there, as my very high risk PCa with a Decipher score of 0.97 and pTEN deficit means I am at risk for recurrence. I am 63 and live in WA state so OHSU will be out of network for two years until I am on Medicare. But I’m OK with that.

Any experience with Dr E at Houston Methodist or MD Anderson?

I bought the version of the above with a plastic bit holder but no wallet or pouch to hold wrench and bits together. I’m sure there is a cheaper, smaller pouch out there than the $20 official version. Maybe a slim pouch with little elastic pockets on each side? Ideas?
