What does everyone do with there aborts ??
Aborts from a 120g (dry) first flush. Was generally just gonna throw them away, just wondering what everyone else does with them ?

I have decided I am going to have thyroid surgery abroad, likely Poland. UK is just too expensive
Not gonna list all my symptoms but they haven’t improved with T3/T4 stabilisation. The NHS won’t remove thyroid to “improve quality of life” so going abroad is my only option
Hoping to have this done within the next two months
Has anyone else went aboard for surgery? And how was your experience ?
Still trying to get my first Monotub without contamination so I am paranoid
There is a spot in the corner (the corner where I’ve been opening the tub for fae) that has a collection of little white dots close together
Tried to get the best pic I can without lowering my phone in the bin, should I be worried ?
Hello,
Can I just clarify with people who actual have Graves. Is it normal to still feel awful even when your T3 / T4 are in normal ranges ?
All the doctors see are the T3 / T4 levels and seem not to give a damn about anything else
What’s the best capsule size for 0.3g ?
Will be grinding it quite thin, will 00 be good enough ?
First time growing via Monotub, do this look ready to fruit ? Surface is fully colonised but it’s really thin, can see soil through the thin layer of mycelium
No casing layer so just CVG so not sure how it’s supposed to look
Does it look ready ?

I’m trying to figure out what’s causing a recurring health issue and wondering if anyone has experienced something similar.
A very long story short, for the past 3 years I’ve been experiencing health issues which always stem from a viral infection, i.e. getting a cold / covid. When ever I get the cold I will be extremely ill for usually 3/4 months with the following symptoms
• Palpitations
• Tremor/shakiness in hands
• Excessive sweating
• Heat intolerance
• Brain fog
• Blurred or hazy vision
• Fatigue
• Muscle weakness
• Feeling “wired” or like I’m full of adrenaline
And the worst symptom which is the hardest to describe, is just general unwellness, feel awful every day for months after cold/flu
I’ve already had investigations for various endocrine conditions and have tested negative for things like HIV, Hepatitis B, Hepatitis C, EBV, Sjögren’s syndrome, pheochromocytoma, Addison’s disease, and Cushing’s syndrome.
I have been tested for nearly everything under the sun, and it all comes back negative except for my thyroid results. I have Graves’ disease but my T3/T4 has been levelled for a while now and no difference. TPO is consistently very high but the doctor says it’s irrelevant
I am so close to just going and getting my thyroid removed, as after extensive tests it seems to be the only thing wrong with me
Has anyone else experienced any post viral issues like this ? Only thing A.I seems to suggest is that it’s related to my thyroid or it’s an autonomic issue
Any reply appreciated!
Thanks

Hello,
I am growing GT and B+ for the first time so naturally I am using a 2kg inject and forget bag. Its been about 3 weeks and the top to middle layers show good mycelium coverage
Problem is the bottom layer, which is sitting just above the heat pad has zero coverage, and it looks bone dry. I am worried that the mycelium will not colonise this area because it’s too dry. I think the heat pad underneath has basically dried out the bottom layer of substrate and I am unsure what to do next
I am thinking that I can going to remix both bags and spray around the inside of the tub to try and get the humidity up ? Or should the mycelium be able to reach the dry substrate regardless ?
Thanks in advance
(Pic is not mine, just an example, can’t get a good picture of my boxes without disturbing)
