I've only played diablo 3, and I never got into endgame, I just beat the campaign up through reaper of souls and god bored, lol. It's been years since then and stumbled across this on sale, base game is cheap (i'm sadly really broke so i'd probably only get base game), so i'm curious about it. I keep hearing it's considered one of the best arpg's out there atm, but what about for someone who barely knows what they're doing? How are the classes, and is it balanced enough I can play whatever I want and still be able to do everything? I guess i'm just looking for an excuse to cave and get the game, since I gotta be very stingy, lol.

I used to love the anime, but never had anyone to play with so I used to just... play against myself using the anime rules, and after recently seeing some of it on tiktok, I have the urge to try playing the game for real for once, lol. I just... I have no idea where to start, I know there are rulebooks and all, and the bare basics I think I understand, but I'm not sure where to play, how to find people to play with that won't like... instantly crush me x3, or how to go about building a deck... There are so many cards that trying to go through them all to make a good deck seems... extremely daunting. So, I thought i'd come here for some help.

I can't tell if it's a story based survival game, or maybe extraction? Or is it sandbox? Was trying to watch gameplay, but it's edited way too much to tell if it's just random maps, or if the map is huge and they're cutting out the walk from A to B. And even then, how solo friendly is it? Are randoms considered a threat on sight? Or is it purely co op? It does look genuinely interesting, but i'm just not quite sure what kind of gameplay to expect from it.

As the title says, never touched runescape before, idk really how things work, what goals there are or anything really, just know it's an old game and people swear by it so it has to be good, right? Well, I boot it up for the first time, play it for a while and.... I don't really know what to do, where to go or.... anything really? I guess this is what people love, freedom to do what you want but... Kinda hard to figure out WHAT I want, what things are good to go and do until I start to get a grasp on things and figure out goals for myself... So, I guess, what should I try and do first? It's super daunting not knowing what to do tbh, so I wanna hear from people who actually know this game.
