Powder sunscreen on top of mineral sunscreen

I recently moved and am spending a lot more time in the sun so I’m trying to develop a better sun protection regimen. I have perioral dermatitis so I have to be very careful with the sunscreens I use and cannot use any chemical sunscreens on my face.

I recently found the Blue Lizard mineral sunscreen and it’s the first one I’ve used that doesn’t flare my skin up at all, but because it’s a mineral sunscreen it doesn’t really blend in very well and leaves my skin looking kind of greasy. I was thinking about purchasing a sunscreen powder to put on top in order to settle the shine down a little, but I was wondering if that would make the sunscreen less effective.

TLDR: Can I use a a sunscreen powder over a mineral sunscreen or will that make my sunscreen less effective?

Drugstore Anti Frizz Product Recommendations?

Hi everyone!

I recently moved to a new city and is INSANELY humid and the frizz in my hair has gotten completely out of control. I have very fine, color treated hair.

Currently I’m using these products:
-L’oréal Elvive Glossing Shampoo
-Biolage Color Safe Conditioner
-L’oréal Evepure21 in 1 Leave in Spray
-Pantene Abundant and Strong Scalp Serum
-Olaplex no. 3 (once a week)

I have also tried the L’oréal Iron Sleek Spray which may have helped somewhat but I’d prefer not to use heat on my hair so often. Ideally I’d leak to find some sort of leave in serum that will help tame the frizz (without breaking the bank). Any drugstore recommendations?

Geographic Tongue, Thrush, or Something Else?

A few days ago I noticed a burning sensation while drinking juice. I assumed I had burnt my tongue and didn’t remember, or maybe had a canker sore coming in, but now 4 days later it still hurts and I’ve noticed these strange lesions on my tongue. After a lot of research I believe it may be geographic tongue or perhaps a case of thrush (I did finish a round of antibiotics about a week ago). Any insights on what might be going on?

Hi!

I’m getting ready to re-dye my hair to a coppery red for the summer. I’ve been dying my hair since July and it’s currently sitting at around a level 6 with a more red-violet tint. last time I dyed my hair I just put the colorcharm crimson gloss over everything and then I’ve been using the keracolor clenditioner in cinnamon for upkeep. I also have about an inch of root growth that’s a natural level 6/7.

I’m wanting to use a level 7 red-copper dye with 20 volume all over but I’m worried the violet tones from my last dye might make things a little funky. Should I use a color remover before I do this next dye? Also any other tips you have I’d super appreciate! Thanks!
