Around 1-2 years ago I opened my heart to Christ. I try my best to follow his teachings.
This post is a bit of a rant. Basically since getting closer with God I have changed a lot. One of things I used to do like a lot people is say “oh my g**” … I can’t even bring my self to say it now. I completely stopped saying the lords name in vain. But what I have noticed how often people say Christs name in movies and tv shows in vain and with bad connotations.
I know tv, phones, screens are a god less world. I am sin ful and indulge in tv shows. I’m sorry about that I do that. It’s an escape I know. But I came here to say how much I noticed the the lords name is said so much in tv ect and I’m at the point where I’m switching off shows because of it. I’ve never noticed how prevalent and constantly it is used. It’s appalling!
Does anyone have thoughts on this? I feel bad for watching a show and then they say the lords name in vain.
Hayden Panettiere’s memoir This Is Me: A Reckoning was released on May 19, 2026. In it, she describes experiences of sexual misconduct and coercion in Hollywood, including an incident at age 18 in which a trusted friend put her in bed with an undressed “very famous” man on a boat (where she was pressured to perform sexual acts) and another in which an Oscar-winning actor/director exposed himself to her at a party when she was 19. And only 90 days after the young healthy 36 year old is found dead???! These hollywierd celebrities that people follow are ALL EVIL and disgusting.
Another name to add to the list of beautiful souls that they have been taken. But it will not go unpunished. God has a watchful eye and they will answer for what they have done.

I’ve just been looking into communication in the event of a power outage. I just learned that you need to license to use an operate a radio! And it’s looking quite costly per month just for that licence? I may be wrong as it was just a quick search.
So my second option would be satellite communicator:
• No licence or exams required
• Works globally via Iridium satellites
• Two-way texting + emergency SOS with rescue coordination
• Very low power use (can run for days/weeks on one charge)
• Pairs with your phone or works standalone
My only concern with that is if can’t connect to satellite for some reason.
Anyhow any experience prep pets have any advice regarding this? Thank you
EDIT: Thank you for the comments offering advice. I understand it a lot more now. People have asked what I intend to use it for. So I of course want to be able to gather information if shtf. And also I am enthusiastic about learning more and speaking to people thousands of miles away over radio is cool! So with the information I have gathered I’m going to do the course exam- at least then I have that skill in my back pack if I ever need.
And then in meantime I can have some fun with it learning about it as a hobby.

Why are American citizens allowing their govern-ment to break the law? The Supreme Court voted for the release of the full files relating to EPSTEIN and the only redactions should be the victims. They are breaking the law by redacting co-conspirators and anyone else in there. Again why are US citizens allowing their govern-ment to break the law??? Break your constitutional rights? Are people just being woefully ignorant or are they scared? And if so scared of what? Why are you giving your tax dollars to your govern-ment that’s breaking the law? Why are you letting your tax dollars be used to kills innocent civilians abroad?

I am the first one to stand up against government overreach and autocracy. Free speech and freedom of press is golden and important to our freedom.
HOWEVER there are certain auditors, in fact a very large majority that make me sick. They say the are just filming everyday day life, but their content is just drug addicts in their lowest moments. Filming someone in their lowest and most vulnerable moments of their lives all for clicks and likes to profit off, has got to be one of the lowest things you can do 🤮.
Now there are a few auditors that are genuinely nice people doing some good work. Looking out for women on nights out. I’ve seen one where he confronts men taking advantage of vulnerable drunk women.
It’s the ones that film drug addicts and ataganise the homeless for a reaction that really do make my blood boil!
Profiting off vulnerable people through clicks and views is sick and they need to be stopped.
Question: do you guys give to any charities?
I feel like the very big charities are scams. They have had billions of billions of pounds and no cures nothing. If you know you know.
So how do we work out which ones are not scams and are actually using the money for a good purpose?

Random Question while I’m here: I a am a first time bird owner. And I noticed that when my two sit on my shoulder, for some reason this starts them off getting it on 😅… he starts feeding her and they both make all of those flirty noises IYKYK 😅… I wondered is this a personality trait or anyone else birds do this?

I have a million thoughts racing through my head… I feel like I have a lot to do but I’m struggling to concentrate on one particular thing. When I try to do something, another thing pops up in my mind and I can’t concentrate and do the task in front of me… i feel like I’m jumping around and from a - b and not finishing or doing anything!!! I feel like my head is going to explode feel like crying, I can’t cope.
