Players who completely played offline or never built roads, how was your experience? What was it like?

I'm currently replaying the first game from the start after a very long hiatus, so I can start the second installment and finally finish the first one. I wanted to see what the game was like in offline mode compared to online.

So far it feels very different not having many pop ups, different structures, and roads etc. During my online playthrough I felt I relied too much on others help, rather than finding my own way about things. After I finished building 80% of the roads the sense of challenge sort of dwindled a lot for me, and I was progressing really fast into the gameplay and story that I kind of got bored and never finished it.

Since I started my offline playthrough, I actually took my time and planned out routes, took in some beautiful scenery, did some actual exploration, and found out what works for me through trial and error. I must say the game feels a whole lot different and challenging. I know the theme is making connections and helping others but there's something about going through the fire and unknown alone. The sense of loneliness traveling through the world, and making your own way.

I'm curious what others experience was like offline compared to online.

HOT TAKE: YB won't really grow as an artist unless he goes commercial

Top the goat and he is great but hear me out.

He literally can go above and beyond than where he is now, seriously. He's been hot now, but he can reach molten levels. But the thing is, he doesn't cater to the actual masses as the other greats do and nor does he care to. Being a great to your fans is not the same as being considered a great to the people outside of it.

His whole image is this "real street nigga with talent who is too real for the industry". I feel like that sorta keeps him in a box. Yes he's in his own lane compared to his peers, yes he makes the charts, yes he makes great music but he's not being recognized as that outside of the fan base. Nigga don't update his plaques, don't do award shows, doesn't do features with the actual big artists, no interviews etc. How can you expect him to really cement himself when he doesn't do any of the things that will put him up there for real? He keeping it TOO real that it holds him back.

All that shit is working for him now, that's cool. But it comes to point where he will need to change the plan if he wants to actually be recognized to the degree as the other greats. I feel right now, at this point of his career, after everything he been through, is the perfect time for him to go commercial and truly get his story out to the actual masses. YB is great, I put him above Drake, Wayne, etc. But if he wants to truly cement himself as a great he has to get rid of the whole anti industry shit and go commercial or he will just be another figure like Boosie dropping whatever tf he drops nowadays. You can say "he don't care, what's the point?" Nigga no shit, but if keeps that up we'll be getting shit like Creep on Ya and Steppa, instead of more shit like Calling From Rio or For You.

This nigga YB sitting on mountains of unreleased QUALITY music that could easily make the COMMERCIAL charts. Not just pop songs but actual HIP HOP shit that compares to some of Pac and Biggie shit. Pac and Biggie were commercial and look how still retained that image of being "real", and look how they still being talked about today.

YB my goat and I want to see him keep winning, he is at a point where he's too big to just keep talking about the same street shit, and the same sad shit. He needs to start structuring his songs and talk about the real shit that matters and that's his GROWTH moving forward.

Why are gangsters so romanticized?

Throughout history we see books, movies, and music glorify the hard knock street life. From Wild West outlaws, to street gangs, to organized crime and drug syndicates. Despite the violence and other horrible shit that happens, people outside looking in continue to glamorize these sort of things.

During the age of outlaws, there was little to no regard for human life, and yet there are dime novels about rootin tootin cowboys robbing trains, blowing the domes off rivals. The show Narcos we see the life of Pablo Escobar and him rambling in speeches as if it was deep, and burning thousands of blood money to keep his family warm like were supposed to pretend he doesn’t have people directly and indirectly killed. We have music and movies where sending other human beings up to the Lord above are brushed off because the wild, crazy environment they was raised in is justified. Despite knowing the right and wrongs deep inside. Mafias are seen as a “lesser evil” and held to a high regard unlike street gangs because they wore suits and were “respectful” when they have done equally, if not more heinous shit.

And yet people glamorize them. Why is that? What is this weird thing that people do? What is the exact reason for this?

Top need a real team

No Holly Watson, Fly Away, Murder Creepin etc. Instead we get 9 released singles and Creep On Ya.

The rest was cool but dawg… Find a new team. If not a new team then he needs to stop putting bs songs on tapes and lock in. I hope this is some 4D chess move and the next tape will be straight fire because I’m tired of this shit 😭

Dude is sitting on a MOUNTAIN of QUALITY songs but he DOESN’T fucking release them. You can say “he doesn’t give af” or “he too real” and that’s a fucking problem.

After 7 whole years I have just realized you are able to use boats...

Started my third playthrough after not touching the game since release, and I was under the impression that we couldn't use boats outside of story missions.

I was today years old when I found out you could in fact, use the boats 🤣🤣

I'm putting together a team... 24K BNG

Putting together a crew that likes to help new players and others grind to get rich, as well as put belt to ass on griefers and try hards that try to ruin the fun.

Also might have some car meets and fun crew sessions if we have enough members.

-No mic required

-New player friendly

-Just having a good time

-No toxicity

DM if interested :)

A reminder to always be the bigger man in these situations

Because if you don't, you'll get hit with involuntary manslaughter

No explosives, no flying bikes, no alien weapons, just a good ol fashioned bang out.

Anyone else love having “realistic” shootouts like this?

Please excuse the aim, I was obviously shook they caught me lacking lol
