I would like to share an apartment with the girls, preferably in an apartment shared with another person, but no more than (with bathrooms in that case)
I'm a non-smoker, I don't have pets, and I'm a serious, tidy girl. I am open to places in Venice island, mestre, spinea, favaro, carpanedo etc.

Recently heard from someone that IELTS strengthens your profile for getting a visa against an MOI. Meaning people with an IELTS certification are preferred over people with an MOI especially if you apply in the later months. Is this true? I've never heard of this before and it doesn't make much sense for a country like Italy to me. I'm speaking specifically in context to VFS in India but if anyone else has any idea about this, pls let me know.
What time do lectures start for Master's students, especially MA English at Vidyavihar? My sister is enrolled for this year and we live quite a distance from Ghatkopar so we wanted to know what her travel timings would be.
Hi, guys. I'm a female and I'm going to be joining university in Venice soon. From what I've heard, mestre and marghera are the two good choices overall for accommodation. I'm supposed to book a place for my visa application. However, I was advised by some friends living in Italy to always check the place in person before booking it because not all of them live up to the images shown and some turn out to be scams. I've been told to only book a place after landing in italy. But some Italian locals mentioned that now is a good time to book places because most landlords look for tenants in this period.
What is your take on this? Should I book now or after?
Also, out of curiosity, what is life like on the mainland? Are there any other areas other than marghera and mestre that I can look into?

Anyone here from an Indian business family who can help me with their experience of getting an Italian student visa?
Funds tend to be not so stable in business owners' personal accounts and they also are kept low in a lot of cases.
What is the best way to show proof of adequate funds in the last 1-2 months? We have legitimate sources like demat holdings that can be liquidated and other company income proofs as well. The problem is that in the last 4 months there are hardly any transactions in the sponsor's personal accounts and the funds are low.
Any ideas about this would be much appreciated!
