My concerns about getting accepted for ausbildung and the cost of moving to germany

i’m 22f from the philippines and i’ve been planning to take ausbildung for a month now. i know i need to learn german first, but language courses are expensive. my parents are willing to help with the tuition, but i’m worried about my chances of getting accepted.

for those who took ausbildung, can you still get rejected even if you have a b1 certificate?

also, how much money did you bring with you when you first arrived in germany?

Possible ba mag-abroad through TESDA Healthcare NC II?

Hi! I’m a 22-year-old graduate of Business Management. I don’t have corporate work experience related to my degree since I’ve mainly been managing my own small business.

Now, I’m planning to career shift and pursue the medical field, specifically nursing. Ask ko lang sana kung possible ba na mag-take muna ako ng Healthcare Services NC II or Nursing Assistant course through TESDA, then gain 1–2 years of work experience here in the Philippines before trying to work abroad.

May chance ba akong matanggap abroad with this pathway, or mas preferred talaga nila yung graduate ng Nursing? 🙃🙃🙃

Should I Take TESDA Healthcare Services to Work Abroad?

Hi! I’m a 22-year-old female and I recently graduated with a degree in Business Management here in the Philippines.

I’ve only had experience managing my own small business, but now I’m thinking of pursuing nursing. Nursing has actually been my first choice, but I wasn’t able to take it before because there wasn’t a university offering it near us.

Now, I’m considering taking a TESDA course, maybe Nursing Assistant or Healthcare Services NC II, then gaining around 2 years of experience here before trying to apply abroad.

Is this a realistic path? Can I actually use a TESDA qualification and work experience to apply for healthcare-related jobs abroad?
I’d really appreciate any advice from people who have taken a similar route. Thank you!

22F, just graduated and started my dream business, but now I feel completely lost

Hi, I’m 22F, kakagraduate ko lang last June 2026, and gusto ko lang i-let out yung nafifeel ko for the past three months kasi honestly, hindi ko na rin alam kung kanino ko sasabihin.

Growing up, I always wanted to have my own business someday. Dream ko talaga magkaroon ng café, grocery store, or any business na sarili ko.

I’m also very aware na sobrang blessed ko. My parents only have a small sari-sari store, pero despite that, they managed to send me to a big university and provide everything I needed growing up. Hindi ako nahirapan financially. Lahat ng basic needs ko, binibigay nila.

And because of that, minsan naiisip ko na parang wala naman akong karapatang malungkot or magreklamo.

When I graduated, nagdadalawang-isip ako kung mag-aapply ba ako ng trabaho or magnenegosyo. May konting experience naman ako sa business because I used to sell baked goods online, pero hindi ko rin tinuloy.

I told my parents about it, and my dad actually encouraged me to start my own business. He experienced working for other people before, and ayaw niyang maranasan ko yung mga hirap na pinagdaanan niya.

They renovated part of our house para magkaroon ako ng maliit na beverage store.
I usually make around ₱1,000–₱1,500 in sales per day. Sometimes I also have a staff help me, and I pay them around ₱300 per day.

At first, sobrang excited ako.
I loved what I was doing.

And I honestly don’t know why.

Hindi naman sa ayaw ko yung business. I actually still love what I’m doing. Pero yung excitement and motivation na meron ako nung una, parang biglang nawala.

There are days na parang pinipilit ko na lang sarili kong magbukas ng store and gawin yung kailangan kong gawin.
And what scares me the most is that I’ve been crying a lot.

There are times na umiiyak ako around five times a week, and sometimes hindi ko talaga alam kung bakit.

Nothing particularly bad happened that day. My parents are supportive. May bahay ako. May pagkain ako.

And then I feel guilty for being sad.

I know I’m privileged. Meanwhile, ako, may parents na willing suportahan yung dreams ko and even helped me build a business.

Maybe natatakot akong mag-fail because my parents invested their money, time, and effort into this business.

Maybe burned out ako.

Or maybe I’m slowly realizing na yung bagay na akala kong gusto ko for years isn’t actually what I want anymore.

I honestly don’t know.

I guess I’m posting this because I want to hear from people who have experienced something similar.

Have you ever dreamed about something for years, finally got the opportunity to do it, and then suddenly lost all your motivation once you actually had it?

How did you figure out what you really wanted?
I’m not really looking for sympathy. I just want some perspective because right now, I feel lost and guilty for feeling this way despite having so much support.

Just graduated and want to pursue VA

Hello! I’m 22F, recently graduated, and currently running a small business. Unfortunately, hindi pa enough yung income from my business to fully sustain my living expenses since I’m also paying rent and helping pay off some of my parents’ debts.

I’m thinking of entering the VA industry, and I’m currently interested in either bookkeeping or e-commerce VA.

I just want to ask those who have experience with VA academies/training programs: are those academies that charge around ₱1,000 and offer training for 6–7 different niches legit?

Some of them also advertise that they provide OJT/training experience, and there’s a possibility that you could be absorbed by the client after the OJT.

I’m considering joining one, but I’m honestly scared that the promises might not be true or that I might just waste my money.

For those who have tried these academies, is it worth it? How was your experience? And would you recommend going through an academy, or is it better to self-study and apply directly?
Thank you!
