The plate for the second hose is 3d printed. I needed to get it done quickly so currently it used tape for attachment, if I had more time i could make some proper mounts. I also had to seal the inside of the compartment to prevent air leakage.
Typical single hose portable ACs are flawed as they use indoor air to cool down the condenser, which is then exhausted outside, creating negative pressure which then results in warm air from outside being pulled in.
I sealed the intake chamber on the inside, and made a 3d printed plate to attach an intake hose. Currently it is held together with tape as i tried to get it done in an evening, if I had more time i could make a nicer removable mount, probably for the next heat wave.
I only ran it for a bit, but it does seem to reduce temperature quicker and the compressor runs less often.
