2 people one therapist

So i have been seeing my therapist not quite 2 years now. She's very open minded and takes interest in new things. I have told her about my recent journey to worship Hecate a few times this year.

She doesnt break HIPPA, but she did tell me she has another patient who is a young teen who is pretty knowledgeable about this themselves.

Today I had a session and I told my therapist about a theory that I may have had a possible interaction with Hecate after seeing another person who posted their artistic rendition of her in this group. I showed her and told her how I saw something similar a few times during an extreme crisis I was in.

My therapist stopped dead. I asked if she was okay. She told me her other patient was speaking of similar things to what I told her just then. She was visibly shaken. Call it a coincidence but I thought it was interesting to see someone who I have no contact with or even know, tell our mutual therapist something that we both experienced and it was similar.

It is a empowering experience

Liminal rites

So i have purchased liminal rites and am having a few issues following it. I feel like i need to know so much other info before reading this. Am I the only one? I am trying to learn more about her. Am I literally looking into it too much? Adhd is likely a factor

Hecate and apollo

So, I know that Hecate and Apollo compliment each other so I simply ask, is there anyone here who chooses to worship both?

Returning

I had to step away from anything spiritual a few months ago, and even stopped worshipping Hecate. I have had time to help myself, to be in a better place as a person and wish to return to her graces. I wouldn't say I turned my back on her, but I simply was in a horrible place to not be able to stay connected. I wish to re connect and start again (i know some of you will say i should have never stopped but the situation was dire).would it be as simple as starting to pray to Hecate and ask for forgiveness? I am ashamed on breaking the connection and wish to seek penance should it be necessary.

Interest

Hello. I am possibly seeking Tai Chi to act not only as meditation, but doubling as exercise which is appealing to me. I have had much experience with mindfulness stationary meditation in the past, but even with that my ADHD makes it difficult to concentrate. I am open to info from those of you who may offer insight into my interest. Most helpful would be recommendations into how to explore and where to start. Information from those whom also combat ADHD, depression and DID would be incredibly valued.

Thank you for any information you may provide.

Extreme multi tasking

I am 37 years old, and I have never been able to totally focus on one thing and go 100% all the way with it. This pertains more to things that I want to learn how to do or make a major change, or just be totally sure. And right about the next place, I want to live. I can want to do 5 to 10 different things. In 1 day, but totally focusing and sticking to something like that is a pain in the ass for me. I feel like I am extreme multitasking for however, many altars I have plus myself.

Working out, learning German, bettering my self image, trying to enjoy my life.

Now I am going to add that I have adhd, I am medicated and have been going through therapy. But sometimes I feel like I am never gonna be totally great at one thing. In particular, and it upsets me. I would sit and explain the entire thing, but I'm not looking to write a 3 page post.

"Friends"

As a species, we homosaipens are social creatures. We learn from each other and share connections. Some of us form groups of a collective interest such as love of a game or book maybe even deeper things as a shared traumatic experience or simply to be there for one another. Sometimes these connections can be severed from such acts of a disagreement on how a situation was handled, betrayal, broken trust etc.

Some individuals either have or always had trouble gaining or maintaining friendships whether it be from a lack of proper social interactions during the most crucial development of childhood, trauma or abuse. There are individuals who reach out quietly, consistently and at times desperately to obtain such a connection only to be left disappointed. They will always pour into another person's cup with the hope they may reciprocate only to never have that equal exchange to never happen. This leads to a considerable amount of loneliness which can lead to depression, anxiety etc.

But what happens when the individual stops trusting others? They see that after all this time, no matter how long they have tried to pour into others, they finally see that they are only "a rhyme, a reason or a season"?

For myself, that has turned into deep anger, resentment, contempt. I am not perfect and I definitely am not without flaw. I have worked on myself to change how i see things and or handle events only to have lost faith in making friends. Even after therapy and self reflection I feel forgotten. Nobody even asks if I want to participate with them in activities or they simply dont follow through.

I have my personal demons that I fight and have been trying to conquer... but I feel very very alone.

Possible communication?

So I prayed to Hecate a few days ago, I asked for a little sign that she was listening. Not 20 mins ago I took my dog out with me to check the mail, she noticed a bird and tried to jerk away and I stopped her until I noticed this bird was not 8 feet away, on the ground and did not flinch from my dog at all. It hit me and I simply asked "Hecate? Is this your sign? If so please give me another" and the bird immediately looked at me. Im naturally a little suspicious but... maybe it was indeed her.

So i was diagnosed with DID a year ago. That was paired with what originally was BPD and PTSD.

come to find, I was misdiagnosed with BPD. That was changed to OCD.

Past traumas, different people in my head, transitioning and constantly needing control over my life and my appearance...

Rage, sorrow, depression, anxiety, hope, betrayal, eating disorders...

How am I still alive? Seriously? Im not a drug addict or a pill head or a alcoholic... how the fuck am i still alive?
