Update:Wheaties Galore

Last week I had 4 boxes with 17 enders. I opened everything but the ender rolls. If I include the end pennies I finished up with 222 total Wheaties. I don't think it was part of the batch from the week before because these were mostly 40's and 50's like usual.

Teller tray for the score

Stopped at my dump bank to turn in some stuff and this thing was so shiny it stood out like a sore thumb.

Pretty good night

I picked up 2 boxes of halves, 4 boxes of pennies, and a box of nickels tonight. Last week I pulled 7 40% halves and 222 wheat pennies so I figured this would be a down week.

I ended up with 3 buffalo nickels, ones a 1929 and the other 2 are worn, but one has an S mint mark. I also pulled 3 war nickels, and a 1938, and a 1952S.

The halves were great tonight, 3 90%, including a beautiful franklin, and 3 40%. The pennies had 4 wheat enders, down from 17 last week, but I don't think that'll happen again anytime soon.

2026 Liberty Bell quarters.

I finally found 5 rolls of the Liberty Bell quarters today. Somehow they were all Denver mint, I'm about 3 hours from Philly??? I only opened 4 rolls and got skunked on the privy. There were some Valley Forge mixed in with them.

Wheaties Galore!!!

I had two boxes last week that had 7 wheat enders and ended up yielding 105 total, with most being pre-1940, and one IndianHead. I ordered 8 more boxes from the same bank this week, splitting it up between two different branches. The four that I picked up the first day had 4 wheat enders, and the four from yesterday had 17 enders, 8 from one box. With any luck they are part of the same batch from last week and I get some early years.

Just picked up 2 boxes seem loaded.

These were the end coins from 2 boxes. I'm around 11 rolls into them and have 12 wheats, including 1911(2), 1914, 1924-26-28, and a 1906 Indian Head.

Nice enders today!

My favorite teller called to let me know someone turned in a couple rolls of 2026 dimes and she thought I might want them. I grabbed them, a box of quarters, and two boxes of nickels. The quarters had this nice proof ender, the nickels were 50% 2026. I stopped at my pickup bank and got 3 boxes of pennies and ended up with 7 wheat enders, including a 1926 & 1928. This magician penny was in a roll of customer wrapped coins from the same bank. If it hadn't of been a 2009 I never would have known. I saw the date and flipped it to see which Lincoln scene it was, and it was a memorial back.

21 solid rolls of damaged halves in one box?????

I went to pick up a few pennies because I was out of town and didn't order halves last week. The teller said she had four boxes of halves if I was interested. I said I'd take two off her hands and headed home to do some searching. One box had 21 solid rolls of the dark gray heat damaged coins. There had to be 20 NIFC's among them. I only kept a commemorative one and rerolled the rest. I'm dumping them 5 hours from home tomorrow with the hopes of never laying eyes on them again.

Nice 1912 penny ender today!

I grabbed two boxes of pennies today and one was all new 2023-P's, and the other was mixed. I ended up with this 1912, and a 1944 ender.

I also went by my local bank that I've stopped picking up boxes from because I was on a 10 box 2025 halvea streak. I drop off my unwanted pennies because they can't order any at this bank. I knew they had a bunch of coins for about 2 months that they can't get rid of because they were already searched. I'm heading out of town and told them I'd take whatever they didn't want out of state and dump it for them. Two boxes were nickels. I went through them anyway and ended up with 60 from 1940-1959, including a 1942 non-silver, 1946 s, 1953 s, 7 2024's, and 2 2009's.

Location updates???

I haven't delivered a GH order in almost 3 months because they can't see my location. I was at the top tier then all of the sudden they stopped sending me orders. When I finally did get one halfway through the order it quit working and I had to call support for the delivery address, as well as to mark it complete. I've uninstalled and reinstalled numerous times, but nothing has worked. I still go online every couple days, but I keep getting the messages from them that they aren't getting location updates and mark me as unavailable. Support isn't much help, thank God for door dash.

Stop at a new dump bank today. While I was waiting I asked the teller that wasn't helping me if they had any wrappers. She asked if I needed a bunch.

UPDATE: Last night I opened two boxes of Brinks rolled halves. There were a total of 8 enders that were 40%, here's the results.

I grabbed two boxes from my local bank yesterday. I got them home and I'm talking to my wife and just casually looking at the ends. That's when I noticed one ender that was a 40%. Then another, and another, final ender count was 8 40%. The the overall total ended up with something completely unexpected, 47 rolls out of 100 had silver, and a total of 71 at 40%, and 13 at 90%. I not only found my first Franklin, I found 7. At least four rolls had four silver coins in them. It's still really hard to believe this just happened.

Not a bad start!

I just found a bank that would order me all the pennies I want. I started with two boxes and just did a quick search of the ends. It looks like I'm already 10 cents ahead, with a dime ender, and a loose penny.

What's going on with these halves?

Is someone trying to change the appearance on purpose? The dates range from 71 to 25, and there's probably over 100 in my last boxes from Brinks.

Tale of two boxes.

I picked up 2 sealed boxes of halves today from my weekly order. At first I was happy to see the 2026, then even happier to see some older stuff. That quickly faded when I pulled out an old roll to check it out, they are all split down the sides. Oh well, at least I've got some 2026's

Picked these up at my bank today.

Yesterday I stopped by to grab whatever boxes of coins they could spare. The head teller asked if I would be interested in some loose halves, and Eisenhower dollars. As I was paying she mentioned that someone had brought in some old currency a couple days ago. I asked what they did with it and she said it was still in the drawer, but that teller was off work. I swung by this morning and grabbed everything they brought in.
