EXPLOITATION IN PRIVATE SECTOR

EXPLOITATION IN PRIVATE SECTOR

The man in the photo came to Delhi's Jantar Mantar to protest against low pay in private sector.

He claimed he was getting paid just ₹500 per day.

What do you guys think is the reason for such low pay? Is it a skill issue or government policy failure?

MINIMUM WAGE SCAM

I just saw a video over Instagram recently that a man was protesting against Government of India for low wages. Why do you think India has unfair low wages? Like 15000 rupees per month and 12 hours work day. Why doesn't Government of India revise them?

ARRANGED MARRIAGE

26M - Pata Hai Aaj Kya Hua I wasn't getting enough attention on Dating Apps and got bored today. So, decided to do an social experiment, and just for fun decided to enroll on Matrimonial App like Jeevansaathi.

I filled in all my correct details and just faked my income.

At first, I lowered my income to 10 LPA. I got no responses.

After a week, I increased my income to 50 LPA. My inbox got flooded with messages wanting to connect with me.

My question is - Is arranged marriage just a transaction for money?

GOVERNMENT JOB TRAP

GOVERNMENT JOB

Government Job Trap

I have been active on Reddit since past few weeks and have read a lot of posts from people seeking advice for their careers and jobs, and a common pattern emerged that most of the advice seekers wasted their 2-3 years or more, preparing for goverment job exams like UPSC, SSC, BANK PO etc. My honest advice to you all is that there is no harm in preparing for government jobs but keep a fixed timeline in your mind that you are not going to prepare for them for more than 2-3 years.

Don't see the success stories and get blindly motivated. Take into account the concept called survivorship bias which basically means in society only few successful people (minority e.g IAS,IPS Toppers) are highlighted and rest of failed majority is ignored.

Comment down your opinions.
