How open are you to people about your role?

Whenever your talking to someone outside of work and it gets to the topic of where you work, on the rare chance it gets which department you work for, what do you say?

Im sure most departments are grand to announce that you work for, but I work for HMRC and always find it a bit risky to say I work for them, especially with neighbours.

Bare in mind, im the bottom of the pyramid (Customer service) but I always feel the need to just say i work for a different department that isn't HMRC to be safe.

People in a similar position, are you honest or are you similar to me?

"I NEED TO GET TO THE HOSPITAL" she said covered in blood with the foetus on her lap after being pulled over.

But her facade dropped when she overheard the doctor explaining to the police that she was never pregnant.

Mother opened an account in my name when I was 13, £1000 has gone in and out in small payments to and from herself.

(Northern Ireland) Not sure what to do, hoping for some advice.

Im 21, born in 2004, and when applying for a mortgage, experian showed a current account in my name. I rang the bank and requested bank statements from the earliest date to the most recent out of curiosity and for the sake of the mortgage.

When the statements arrived, it showed 100+ payments in and out of the account, typically recieving multiple £15 payments from my mother and every couple of months, sending larger payments of £100+ to herself with the reference 'MUM'. This account was created in 2018, when i was 13.

I've never seen any of these payments and didn't know the account existed. The reason im asking this here is because im no longer in contact with my mother for around 3 years, and I know she commits benefit fraud, which my brother has already reported as he is no contact aswell (she's a 'carer' for my uncle who she sees once every couple of months when drinking, and claims my step father lives in a different home which he doesnt).

Should I report this account to be safe? I dont want my life getting hectic because my mother couldn't be arsed getting a job, but I also dont understand what she would gain from doing this on the account. I was think she's done it to show she's giving money from child maintenance to me, but I also have 0 clue if she even receives CMS?

The account seems to have only been active from 2018 - Jan 2020, any advice would be amazing.

Need clarity on this road

Just wanted to make sure im not going insane, I've had so many cars near go into the side of me that its got to the point I anticipate the driver being in the wrong lane.

On the section outside of castle court, are the arrows I drew correct (red arrow being the 2 most inner lanes) Im always following the blue arrow, but the amount of times a car in the far left lane tries to go into the same lane as me is driving me insane. Anyone else have issues with this section?

Edit - i forgot to crop as I made this in a fit of rage after a car in the far left lane beeped at me for a solid 10 seconds -

Edit 2 - zoomed in and noticed im wrong about the light blue lol, they cannot turn left - but how about the red and dark blue?

Does recording 'good deeds' and posting them for views make the good deed less valid?

Im conflicted, because I see comments of people saying thats if it was genuine it wouldn't have been recorded, but the good deed was still done and the views motivates to do more good deeds.

Whats your opinion?

Are 'Ghost bidders' actually real when buying a house

Im trying to buy a house at the moment and I always hear stories of real estate agents pretending there's higher bidders.

Im just wondering, has anyone who has sold a house before confirm if they are aware of their estate agent making up bids to get more money?

How often do you use your phone for tasks?

For example, if im going to the toilet, i scroll on my phone. If im taking a shower, i set up my phone and watch/listen to youtube. When im going to sleep, i have rain noise playing on my ipad and a youtube video to fall asleep to on my phone. When im working, i have music playing on my phone. When me and my gf are eating dinner, we set up the ipad and watch a show. Im ADHD riddled so it helps me concentrate, curious to see everyone elses phone use.

Deep blisters when playing

Im at my whits end to be honest. My feet just reufse to develop calluses and as a result evrn after 1 hour of training, alot of the bottom of my foot is red raw with thick layerd of skin peeled off.

Ive tried anti blister socks, two pairs of socks, smaller boots, plaster on the blister spot and no matter what they dont go away and have me out until they heal enough for me to play again, where they just blister again and loose the skin.

Any advice on how to sort this out, its agony to play with them and its annoying always being out 'injured'

Im from the UK and speaking to a mortgage advisor today, and if all goes well we'll hopefully start house searching soon.

I have a lovely landlord with a monthly rolling contract, when should i tell them im moving? Im thinking of when were sale agreed but its just that fear that we get told to move out before we have a house.
