Tracking your car at boiling hot temperatures
I really wanted to use up my tires and EBC yellows so I took my GTI to a member driving day as a guest at Dominion Raceway. It was 100F (109 under the sun). Braking with my stock calipers weren't an input anymore; it was more of a suggestion. The good thing is that now I really know what a squishy brake feels like and how to manage it. In my last session, I overheated the engine and every single error come out on the dash. Of course I quit after that. New rule: never track your car when it's hotter than 90F. I also may invest in a popup tent.
