How common in Australia is being insulted on the street?

I got some random person throwing insults at me while I was walking down the street. The question I have is:

How common is this? Is it something that happens occasionally even to white people?

And do you shout or say anything back?

I’m just wondering if race was a factor cuz I’m not white.

Are you used to being put down?

Things have changed a lot but I had so many experiences of people mocking me just because of me saying where I'm from or people insisting on saying what they think of my appearance. When I say I don't like some statement, people then try to gaslight you. It really affected me and made me used/accept being mocked or ridiculed.

Being mixed, you really don't have that many people who will also agree that such a behavior is bad. It's not like there's that many of us or are in community.

Now, if it happens, I just tell people they are being a racist but it took me time to build self-confidence.
What has your experience been like?

Shows that could have been a lot better

What are some shows that you think could have been a lot better?

For me, it's The 4400 (the original). I really liked the cast and the plot line was really interesting; people sucked away from different years are suddenly brought back. However, it was clearly written by people who just "don't get people". Characters don't have consistency and make weird decisions.

Another one is the Birds of Prey. I really liked the cast and wish Ashley Scott had become bigger. But the plot was..... clearly written by someone who was a fanboy of Buffy and didn't sound like it was written by an actual script writer.

Which show do you think could have been better if it was executed properly?

What prompts do you use when you need to vent to AI?

I mainly want somewhere to vent or have someone to talk to. For example, I was sick for a while and feel like it cost me career opportunities. Repeating this to people would probably tire them out, so I want to get it out of my system and organize my thoughts. I tried using chatgpt now and asked for it to act like a therapist but yeah.... the result was pretty bad.

What prompts or setups do you use? And which AI do you use?

I hate being asked "are you mixed?"

I just want your opinion.
I get that people might be curious and how I feel may depend on how people ask this question but... being asked about race so frequently is annoying. I can't think of a better analogy but it's like being asked about your salary randomly?

How do other mixed people think?

What's your experience with therapy?

What's your experience with therapy?
Before I figured out that I had Asperger's, many people told me that I should seek therapy. And the ones I've seen were just awful in general but I am really annoyed that they didn't even think I was on the spectrum.

I'm also wondering if any therapy works for people on the spectrum. Or you have to seek ones specializing in dealing with people on the spectrum. Please let me know what your experience with therapy was.

How do Canadian aspies deal?

I briefly went to Canada and was surprised how indirect Canadians were. How do aspies living in Canada deal with the culture? Is it really difficult? Please share your experience.

I know a guy in real life that I fell out with due to his racism. I was very hurt. I saw him on grindr so messaged the guy calling him insecure and a racist. He replied back using some very racial slur. I've reported the account and I think it got banned. I'm debating whether I should contact his workplace with the screenshot or would that be an overkill and possibly backfire? What do you guys think.

Edit: Racist hate toward mixed raced people are ignored in our society so it's easy for mixed people to feel isolated. So, I want to thank everyone for reading this and responding to it.
