Back when it first came out my friends got me to try The Finals on PS5 (most of them don't have a good PC so we usually stay on Playstation for gaming) I didn't really like the game or how it felt in the slightest so I just uninstalled and told them to play it without me in the future and I'll just hang in VC, especially since there can only be 3 people to a game anyway.
That was that and I didn't think about the game again until last night, and I decided to give it another try but on PC this time and oh my god. The game feels so much different than on console and I'm having the time of my life. Last night it felt like I blinked and 5 hours went by and it was 3 or 4 in the morning. I was never a big fan of COD (excluding zombies) on either PC or PS5, but this game feels like what I expected COD Advanced Warfare to feel like back in the day and is so fun.
I cannot believe I waited so long to play this game on PC instead of just forgetting about it. If anyone stumbles across this and is wondering if the game is worth it, give it a try. At the end of the day it's free, what's the worst that could happen?
It's been like this for a few days now. The audio will still play (as indicated by the audio icon on the tab at the top) but I cannot see the video at all. I tried wiping browser history, clearing cookies, re-logging into my account, restarting my PC, everything I can think of. Nothing fixes it and it just stays black, or goes back to it after a single video. Had anyone struggled with this issue before or know of a solution? Can't find any posts about an issue like this having happened to someone prior
Edit: The time bar at the bottom doesn't appear when you hover your mouse over the player either. It can't be paused nor can you skip through the video
Edit 2: I disabled Opera's ad-block and that seemed to fix it
