Is this really from anxiety?

Can anxiety really cause this?

It's been 2.5 years of hell and suffering with doctors. I've tried everything, but the outcome is always the same - I run into people who convince me that I am anxious and that I have no problems, but I still physically have symptoms that I will briefly try to describe below. If anyone has experienced something similar, feel free to reach out; I've literally searched and Googled everything.
My quality of life has deteriorated to the maximum over these 2.5 years.

Main symptoms:

  1. The main problem is elevated heart rate when standing and walking - often 110-120, can be higher, but sometimes it was around 80-90 while walking because I've been into sports my whole life.

  2. When sitting or lying down, the heart rate is mostly normal (50–70, it varies).

  3. Feeling of heart skipping, “dancing” or vibrating in the left side of the chest.

  4. Occasional sharp pains/stabbing in the chest and under the left collarbone/near the armpit.

  5. Occasional shortness of breath and feeling of suffocation.

  6. Waking up during sleep and feeling like I'm out of breath.

  7. Frequent burping and returning air from the stomach or feeling like air is trapped in the stomach, and I have to lean to the side or change my body position to release it.

  8. Heartburn and burning in the throat.

  9. Feeling of pressure in the sinuses and stuffy nose without a clear cause.

  10. Dry mouth, burning eyes, and occasionally blurred vision.

  11. Occasional pain in the neck, head, and behind the eye.

All my test results are normal: EKG, Holter has been done at least 4-5 times, stress test, echocardiogram also done 4-5 times, lung tests normal, Doppler of neck blood vessels, heart markers completely fine, thyroid also normal.

As for the blood work, everything is fine, only my neutrophils are consistently slightly low, while lymphocytes are slightly elevated; everything else is good.

Symptoms get worse almost always after meals, while walking, or during any physical activity, even when standing.

Interestingly, as soon as I sit down, my pulse drops to 60-70.

The only diagnoses I have are: GERD, chronic gastritis, and a small hiatal hernia, which they call - negligible.
However, considering this, I suspect that my stomach might be ‘shifted’ if that can even happen.

So, I ask you once again, if anyone has something similar, feel free to reach out or maybe can refer me to something I haven't tried yet because this is hell.

Heart rate

M28 82kg

Does anyone have problems with heart rate?
Mine used to be around 80-90 walking, now it’s around 110-130, depends.
Also, it’s always worse after eating a meal.

I’ve been to cardiologist and did every heart related stuff and everything is fine.
Also did endoscopy and i have GERD, small HH and gastritis.
Never had problems with food coming back but i do have a feeling that my throat is burning sometimes.

Also have a bunch od symptoms but if anyone had something similar or the same please feel free to message me or comment.

DR told me it’s not POTS

**Male, 180 cm (5’11”), 82–84 kg (181–185 lbs), former athlete and personal trainer. Symptoms have been ongoing for about 2.5 years.**

***Main symptoms:***

**Elevated heart rate when standing and walking (often 100–120 bpm, sometimes up to 140-160, used to be 70-80 standing)**

**Sensation of skipped beats, fluttering, or vibrating in the chest**
**Occasional sharp chest pains, especially under the left collarbone and near the armpit**

**Feeling unable to take a deep breath**

**Episodes of shortness of breath and air hunger**

**Frequent burping and sensation of air coming up from the stomach**

**Heartburn and burning sensation in the throat**

**Pressure in the sinus/nasal area and feeling of nasal congestion without an obvious cause**

**Dry mouth, burning eyes, and occasional blurry vision**

**Tightness in the neck, upper traps, and back of the head**

**Occasional neck pain, headaches, and pain behind one eye**

**Fatigue and a constant feeling that my body is not functioning the way it used to**

***What makes symptoms worse:***
**Meals**
**Standing still**
**Walking and physical activity**

***What helps:***
**Sitting or lying down**
**Not eating for several hours (for example, after 6 PM)**
**Burping sometimes provides temporary relief**

***Diagnoses I currently have:***

**Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease (GERD)**
**Chronic Gastritis**
**Small Hiatal Hernia**

***Tests that have come back normal:***

**Multiple ECGs/EKGs**
**Holter monitor**
**Echocardiogram**
**Exercise stress test**
**Chest X-ray**
**Spirometry**
**D-dimer, troponin, and NT-proBNP**
**Carotid/neck vessel Doppler ultrasound**
**Oxygen saturation is usually 97–100%**

***Additional context:***

**I was very active before all of this started and trained regularly. Because of these symptoms, I have barely been able to exercise for the last 2.5 years. The symptoms seem much more noticeable after eating and when upright.**

***Question:***

**Has anyone experienced a combination of elevated heart rate when standing/walking, worsening after meals, inability to take a deep breath, excessive burping/reflux, and skipped heartbeats despite normal cardiac testing? If so, what was the eventual diagnosis or cause?**

Is it from GERD?

28 M
after 2.5 years i still don’t know what’s going on.

Anyone here with POTS like symptoms?
My heart rate is usually normal around 60-80 when resting but as soon as i stand up or walk it’s around 100-120, depends. It’s much worse after eating.
Does anyone have something similar?
