Decided it was time to install a DNA Air Filter on the 24 Street Scrambler. Simple enough job and hoist not needed but I've been a technician for 20 years now and my back appreciates not having to work on the ground anymore haha!

Does YouTube lower the video quality on a very long video?
Most of my long form videos are between 15-20 minutes and they're filmed at 4K 30FPS. I export with a VBR 1 pass and a bitrate of 80. Those videos look great and are very crisp.
I tried a 28 minute video at 4k 50FPS and same VBR 1 Pass at 80 bitrate. According to YouTube its uploaded at 4k but when I checked it on 3 different devices I swear its barely even playing at 720p. I checked the settings for playback and they were set to highest resolution. The original file doesnt have this issue, only the uploaded version.

So does YouTube compress long videos like that?
