About a week ago I got a stipe email from my first subscription after 3 weeks of building, I got super excited and ive been improving and polishing every bit for my beloved user lol.

This user found out about it on LinkedIn and tried the free trial and then bought the starter pack.

I do cold DM outreach and post on LinkedIn everyday, I got 1k+ followers there, i get constantly ghosted on cold DMs.

I wanna know what would be the best move now or if anyone has been on a similar Situation. The product is a AI candidte screening tool for busy recruiters (idk if I can post the link here)

I’ve been talking with the small but active NostrumWoW community on Discord, especially the players helping us during beta, and I wanted to say thank you.

The feedback has already been really useful.

The biggest thing we’ve learned is that people seem to want a Blizzlike WotLK foundation, but with smart QoL improvements and phased progression.

Not a funserver.
Not instant max level.
Not a custom mall.

But also not a completely untouched 2008 experience.

What we already have in place:

• Level cap phases
• XP from BGs, so players who love PvP can level through battlegrounds
• Dual spec at level 19 for 1 gold, because it does not really hurt balance and is a great QoL improvement
• Small gold rewards every 10 levels, as a small thank you for playing

So far, the direction is looking like:

• Fresh launch with a full reset, beta players will get a title
• 1x XP rates fort the current phase and 2x for low levels
• Optional Hardcore
• Phased progression
• Carefully chosen QoL
• No pay-to-win

One of the most interesting topics has been QoL for alts, things like account-wide attunements, achievements, or reputation. That kind of feedback is exactly why beta discussion matters.

We’re a small team of 3 long-time WoW players working on a fresh WotLK 3.3.5a progressive realm called NostrumWoW.

We started this because, honestly, we’re tired of two things:

1. Blizzard moving away from the version of the game we fell in love with.
2. Private servers that feel more like cash grabs than actual passion projects.

We’re not trying to pretend NostrumWoW is going to be the next mega-server. We’re building it because we love WotLK, we miss that fresh progression feeling, and we want a realm that feels clean, stable, and community-first.

Current direction:

WotLK 3.3.5a

• Fresh progressive realm Chromiecraft style
• Open public beta
• Launch planned for May 15 at 13:00 CEST
• No pay-to-win
• No profit-first cash shop
• Small community focus
• Progressive raid roadmap
• Built on AzerothCore with custom core changes, will open source in a near future
• Long-term project, not a quick hype launch
