Sample Rates + Scaling - General Question (4K CE)

Hi again,

So, for setting up PS2 via component, I went through all of the profiles I liked (mostly CRT stuff) and then I used Mr. Moro's video to set the sample rate, turning on the auto factor + auto phase detection, inputting the correct ADC rate, followed by turning on progressive and interlaced detection. Then I went into the scaler, trimmed via auto fill integer, finishing up by switching to proportional.

My question is, when I'm applying profiles like Kuro's CRTs which already have CRT emulation settings and 4:3 aspect ratio by default, should I be following the process above to set them up correctly for each console?

Many Thanks!

So, This is what the 360 Dashboard Looks Like Now

Been away from the 360 for many years, but recently picked one up, resurrected my account and downloaded all my old LIve Arcade purchases. Disappointed to find out that Microsoft has let the user experience go to the wall here. I can understand closing stores to some extent, but my console now only connects to live with an ethernet cable, and on top of that the dashboard now looks like crap, with thumbnails missing for most Live Arcade games. The reality is that you can now have a better user experience by hacking the console than you can via official the dashboard, which I think is a bit of a joke.

Looking for advice/resources for new (to me) Xbox 1.6 ( possibly 1.6b) with DuoX2

Hey guys, I know its an old chip. I don't think the dash has been updated since 2006. Console mods still has info on the install, but I'm looking for advice on how to update the EvoX dashboard, assuming there are specific versions that will work with it, and possibly the best programs to install for running and managing everything. So far, I've installed games via ftp using dvd2xbox. Appreciate any suggestions as its tough finding info on this stuff.

Maverick Directors Series (UK)

Warner Home Video put out some of their classic / cult movies under this Maverick Directors series in the UK, in widescreen editions where possible. Anyone own any of these, or know which movies got this treatment? There were 25 in all, but only 12 are in this advert. I have Blade Runner Director's Cut (above), and The Man Who Fell to Earth (not mentioned here).

*sorry for the blurry pic. Its all I could find!

Mars Attacks (Blue Big Box)

Thought VHS would appreciate this Mars Attacks big box in blue. Spent 20 years in the attic. Just watched it and it played fine. I was looking for another example of it, but all I can see are red editions. I think it may have been an Xtravision (Irish Rental store) exclusive? But, if anyone can confirm one way or another that would be awesome.
