Preparing for next membership

Hello, as the title says, how can I prepare for the next fan club membership application? Or how can I apply in general?

I’m from the UK and I’m struggling to find any information regarding this. I missed the 8th membership period because of my lack of knowledge as well and really don’t want to miss this next one. If someone could assist me or let me know about the crucial things I need to do, I would really appreciate it!

Thank you in advance

Is this really ringworm?

https://postimg.cc/gallery/6tgjTzv

If you see the images, the image with a slightly pinkish tone/IMG-4553 is the one taken at 22/07/26 and the rest are the ones I took today 31/07/26.

The vets said this is ringworm, after doing a fungal culture test and gave me itrafungol oral medicine which I gave her first dose today. My cat is 6yrs female and spayed. This is the only spot she has and I thought it might just be a small scar/injury but apparently it’s ringworm.

I just don’t believe it is since it seems to be going away on its own and unlike what everyone else says online and what I’ve been told by my vet/veterinary nurse from my pet insurer, it’s highly contagious which means at least my other cat who eats/drinks from the same bowl as the infected cat and also sleeps where she sleeps (never together though they don’t like each other that much) should also be infected the same eventually. They have only just been separated yesterday after finding out that she’s positive for ringworm. The younger cat has no symptoms whatsoever. I’ve tried the black light test under them both but nothing glows (which I’m aware only certain types of ringworms glow).

My cat has been outside more than usual around the time she had the scar first come up (note, she’s an indoor cat and we only allow her to go in the garden. Sometimes she runs from the garden exit and goes under the cats on our street, where she comes back all dusty and dirty which we then brush and wash off). I searched online and apparently cats can pick up ringworm spores and from dirty environments outside without being actively infected which can cause a false positive test result. Is this true?

Can anyone who has experience in ringworm in cats please help me. I’ve been extremely stressed and frustrated and have no idea what to do, especially since the medicine is strong for her, since she has a sensitive stomach.

Ringworm advice/concerns/Qs

Info:
I’m 20F, in UK, vet is accessible and we’ve had a diagnosis in the morning

My cat (+ve for ringworm): 6yrs female, spayed
My other cat (showing no symptoms): 2yrs female, spayed

We have pet insurance for vet bills and we can also generally afford majority of vet bills regardless.

TL;DR cat’s positive for ringworm, need advice on level of precaution, medicine side effects and whether based on the pictures it looks a severe case. (Sorry for the long post)

After tested for ringworm, the result came back positive. She’s been prescribed itrafungol (oral liquid) daily. (We will go to the vets later today for the medicine/she hasn’t started the medicine)

I have a few concerns I want to raise, I’ve seen many horror stories online about this and most of the cases seem a lot severe. Do I really need to take extreme caution as much as everyone says online? I’ve seen people say they wore gloves/masks when interacting with their cat, restricting them to limited rooms, disinfecting like crazy etc.

My cat goes around everywhere and even whilst waiting for the results no one took any caution. Even now I feel my family aren’t taking a lot of caution and letting the cat do whatever as long as she gets better overall cause (without sugarcoating it) everyone spoils her like crazy.

Also, I know this might be immature to think, but based on my cats pictures and behaviour compared to info/images of ringworms online, it’s not reached a severe case (hopefully it won’t regardless). Does this impact our precaution level for both us (me and my family) and my other cat?

In terms of medication, I’ve seen mentions of the ringworm getting worse after medication, how likely is this? It’s not severe at all and I don’t want her to get worse because of the medicine. Again, I know this is immature thinking and ofc I do want to treat her to her best, but I’m still worried about any unexpected side effects which will worsen my cats condition overall..

Previous row colour showing through on next (for tapestry) [beginner]

Idk how to explain this but this keeps happening and it’s making my tapestries look really messy. Beginner here so testing out a random pattern (hence why it’s messy). The previous yarn colour keeps showing through on the next row on the front side only. The back looks cleaner than the front for some stitches. Can someone tell me what I’m doing wrong please? I’m doing Yarn under/yarn over combo for my stitches btw.

Thank you!! I’ll add images to show what I mean.

I’m a beginner and this is my first tapestry work hence why it’s not clean, and I don’t really know much about technical terms yet, I watched a few tutorials and thought I’d be fine but clearly not 🫠
