Water access please!!

We aren’t originally from Olympia so I’m unsure about how water access works…please comment if you know!

Just wondering if there are any areas where one could park and easily access water with a kayak or inflatable boat/raft? I have young children so a grand hike with gear is out of the question. Thanks in advance!!

What kind of bulb for the light source??

Hey plant lovers! My husband and I are very divided about having a jungle in our home, so I’m trying to keep things somewhat “subdued”. I purchased these shelves to accommodate some of my tropicals, and I’m wondering:

What kind of light bulb would provide the best grow conditions?

Any suggestions are welcomed!

PS I live in the PNW and the windows in the photo are south-facing.

Thanks friends!!

My 5 year old only eats Goldfish crackers 😪

My 5 year old son is level 3 ASD and non-verbal.

Once upon a time he had a pretty expansive diet inclusive of fruits/veggies, dairy, rice/mash potatoes, and protein. However that has all changed and as of about 4 months ago, all he will eat is Goldfish crackers. He has more recently decided he will also eat Reese’s PB puff cereal (dry, alongside the goldfish).

Fortunately he is a good water drinker and he loves juice, so I add a very nutrient dense liquid vitamin to his juice daily (https://a.co/d/05XqVEEy).
But that is his diet day in and day out—Goldfish and Reese puffs…

I’m really at a loss for how to reincorporate essential foods back into his diet. Any tips/tricks or suggestions would be super appreciated!

Thanks in advance 💙
