Tomar childhood er kon weird belief ta ekhono mone ache?
Mahalaya’r din ghum theke uthte paro naki snooze wins?
I’m Bengali but I grew up in Delhi. Whenever I visit Kolkata, people say, Tor kothay Delhi r taan ache. Do Delhi Bengalis actually sound different?
What’s the one bhuter golpo you refuse to hear before sleeping?
What’s the most crowded pandal you’ve ever visited?
Should I even consider marriage, or am I better off staying single?
I’m honestly pretty confused about whether I should ever get married. I had a girlfriend once, but it only lasted about two weeks because the relationship started becoming more about money than genuine feelings. I wanted to experience something real love, care, trust, and being there for each other but I never really got to experience that.
Now I’m stuck in this dilemma. I’m scared to approach someone again because I keep thinking, what if the same thing happens again? Love seems so complicated these days, and I’ve never really experienced genuine love and care.
Maybe being single is actually better for me. But a part of me still wonders what genuine love feels like.
What do you guys think should I give relationships another chance, or just accept that being single might be better for me?
Still Hoping for an Old-School Kind of Love
I’m a little old-school. I still believe in genuine connection. The eye contact, the butterflies while waiting for her message, and loving someone with pure intentions.
To me, a relationship is more than love and intimacy. It’s about trust, care, understanding, and truly choosing each other. I’m single, but I still hope to find that kind of love someday.
Maybe I just see relationships differently.

I genuinely want to understand something. Do love, care,
trust, eye contact, emotional connection, and actually being there for each other not matter that much anymore?
I know how to cook and I can take care of household stuff too, and I understand that these things are important. But I don't think they should be the whole relationship. To me, it's also about the mindset, emotional connection, trust, care, and how two people treat each other.
I won't judge anyone for having different preferences because everyone has their own idea of what they want in a relationship. But I had a conversation with someone today where I was told that these practical things are more important, and honestly, I felt really bad afterward.
It made me question whether I'm just looking at relationships differently or whether I'm simply not made for one. Maybe being single is better for me.
I don't think I'm asking for something unrealistic. I just want a relationship where love, care, trust, respect, and companionship actually matter.
Am I expecting too much, or does anyone else see relationships this way?
I still feel guilty about ending a 1-month relationship from 3 years ago

I’m 25. A girl approached me a few years ago wanting a relationship. I initially said no because I didn’t feel mature enough for one. She kept insisting, and eventually my friends told me to give it a try.
She suggested a situationship and said I might develop feelings later, so I agreed. It was an online relationship, and things seemed fine at first, but then she started asking me for money almost every day.
My friends pointed out how weird that was, and I eventually realised I might have been used. So I ended things after about a month.
The weird part is, it’s been 3 years, and I still sometimes feel guilty. I keep wondering if breaking up was my fault or if I was supposed to financially support her just because I was her boyfriend.
Maybe I was just a noob who learned the hard way. 🥲
I’m scared of marriage and already planning my old age
I’m 25 and I don’t know why I’m writing this, but marriage genuinely scares me. I feel like I’ll lose my freedom, random plans, and hangouts with friends. But then I remember everyone will eventually get busy with their own lives, so maybe I should start checking out old-age homes now. After my past relationship 🥲, relationships feel a little scary, but I guess if I ever find someone who truly understands me and gives me space, I might change my mind. For now, I’m just 25 and already overthinking my entire future for absolutely no reason.
25M | Delhi | Looking to meet someone genuine
25M from Delhi here. I’m looking to meet someone with the possibility of a genuine relationship.
I’ve always really liked Punjabi culture and have had some really nice experiences with Punjabi people. I love the warmth, energy, optimism and easy-going nature that often comes with the culture. There’s just something about it that feels very welcoming to me.
I’d love to meet a Punjabi girl, but more than anything, I’m looking to connect with someone I genuinely get along with good conversations, similar vibes, and seeing where things naturally go.
Not expecting anything from this post, just putting myself out there. If you’re from Delhi/NCR and feel like talking, feel free to say hi.
