I've been wondering how active the Smash community is around Chillicothe these days.

We're building a weekly Super Smash Bros. Ultimate local in Portsmouth and have started seeing players from several surrounding communities, but I'm curious whether there's much of a Smash scene in Chillicothe.

This Saturday we're hosting another event:

Our goal isn't to run a one-time tournament—we're trying to build a consistent regional community where players from Portsmouth, Chillicothe, Jackson, Waverly, Piketon, and elsewhere can regularly meet and compete.

For those of you in the Chillicothe area:

• Do you already have a regular local?
• Would you travel about an hour for a weekly Smash tournament if it had a good turnout?
• What would make a local worth the drive?

I'd genuinely like to hear what the community thinks.

Curious how many University of Kentucky students still play Fortnite Zero Build regularly.

We’ve been building a weekly Friday tournament in Portsmouth, Ohio, and I’m trying to figure out whether college players from Lexington would ever make the trip together for a larger community event.

This Friday, July 24:

Pre-check-in: 4:30 PM
Tournament starts: 5:00 PM

It’s about a two-hour drive from Lexington, so I know this probably wouldn’t be a casual weekly trip for most students.

But would something like this be worth it occasionally if a group traveled together?

I’m genuinely interested in how far college players are willing to travel for in-person Fortnite events.

I'm curious what the gaming scene at Marshall looks like these days.

Do many people still play Fortnite Zero Build, or has everyone moved on to other games?

I'm asking because we've seen more interest in local in-person gaming around the Tri-State lately, and it made me wonder what Marshall students are actually playing.

A few questions:

• Is Fortnite still one of the bigger games?
• Would you be interested in more local, in-person gaming events around the region?
• If not Fortnite, what game would get you to show up?

I'm trying to see if there are many Fortnite players in Eastern Kentucky / the Tri-State area who would be interested in in-person Zero Build events at THe Vault Family & Event Center?

A few of us are trying to build a regular local Fortnite community near the Ashland / Portsmouth / Huntington area.

A few questions:

• Do you still play Fortnite regularly?

• Would you attend an in-person Zero Build event if it was within driving distance?

• Would Friday night or Saturday be better?

• Would you prefer Solos, Duos, Squads, or Customs?

Mostly trying to see if there are enough local/regional players to build something consistent.
