Is this a good budget heater?

I'm looking for a cheap diesel heater for my weekend house (one room, 20-25 m²) and came across this VEVOR 8 kW all-in-one for around €136.

It has Bluetooth/app control, a remote, a built-in tank, comes with an adapter and supposedly a CO alarm.
Is there anything better for this price? Is this layout better than the tower or horizontal one?

I know that the 8 kW is a false advertisement. Would the 4 or so kW that it has be too much for my needs? Would the heater cycle on and off all the time? My goal is to heat up the place fast because I'm there one day per week, 12 hours max.

Thanks!

P2S grinding noise

I had a lot of issues with my P2S since I got it.

The plate was always clean and I even got an external dryer for the filament but it's still the same.

Supports would fail at some point (not at the bottom) or layers would shift as the prints get taller. It's like the nozzle is hitting the model.

Recently, I got a message that scheduled service is coming up or something like that. It was in the bubble where you get daily quotes. The metal rods were dry and then I noticed that I had 250+ hours on the printer. Apparently, drying the filament is added to printing. I decided clean and lube everything.

I did a full service, took my time and did everything according to Bambus instructions.

Now I get this grinding sound what you can hear in the beginning of the video. The fans are louder than in person, sorry. It reminds me of the sound the head makes when it vibrates during the small calibration prior to printing, but it's much more quiet.

I did the full calibration with this cool plate after the service so I don't know what could be the problem.

I had a similar grinding noise when I was printing glow in the dark PLA. I only printed two small pieces, a few grams of filament.

I usually use PLA matte or PLA+

Anyone running a P2S with an AMS flipper + top spool holder?

I was wondering if anyone here is using an AMS flipper together with a top-mounted spool holder.

My main concern is whether there's any risk of damaging the AMS when it's flipped out and fully loaded with four spools. The P2S seems to shake pretty violently during fast prints, and I'm wondering if all that movement puts too much stress on the flipper or the printer frame over time.

Has anyone been running this setup for a while? Any issues with vibration, wear, or the AMS moving around?

Also, what AMS flipper and/or top spool holder are you using? There are quite a few models out there, so I'd love to hear which ones you've had good experiences with (or which ones to avoid).

I was looking at these two:

https://makerworld.com/en/models/2103719-p2s-p1s-x2d-top-spool-holder-tpu#profileId-2275175

https://makerworld.com/en/models/1363398-ams-flipper-better-access-to-your-p1s-x1-p2s#profileId-1770033

One more thing. I completely forgot that I have a Sovol SH02 filament dryer. Would it make more sense to use that instead of a top spool holder for materials like TPU and abrasive filaments? If anyone is printing directly from an SH02 on the P2S, I'd be interested to set it up..

Prints failing after PLA --> ASA

When I printed ASA with my Bambu P2S the prints were fine if the print profile was for ASA.

When I tried to print PLA models in ASA I couldn't finish a single one. The layers at one point shifted 5-10 mm and then continued like nothing happened. The model was either shifted or the printer would print into air. I assume the nozzle hit the model at one point which caused the shift.

The bed and chamber are preheated and I use a brim. There's no visible extreme warping. What could be the issue?

I was using Bambu slicer, Sunlu ASA filament and I tried multiple profiles.

Anyone using Orca?

I finally switched to Orca after a ton of problems with Bambu slicer.

A lot of things are better, there are filament profiles, calibration and other useful stuff, but it doesn't let me send prints to my printer.

Does anyone else have that problem?

Is that Bambu blocking 3rd party programs?

I have my printer in LAN only mode.

Focus MK4 - Homologated high beam led bulbs that fits

Hi, I'm looking for an EU homologated H1 led bulb that that fits the MKIV halogen headlights.

Did anyone find a model that can be installed inside?

From what I've seen the biggest problem is that there's no metal clip so the install is a bit more complicated.

BIQU Glacier damaged after first print

Yesterday I got a BIQU Glacier plate for my Bambu P2S.

After washing it, I tried printing with PLA Matte at 40°C bed temperature.

The print was a pyramidal shaped stand.

It infused itself into the plate. I couldn't get it off. I was bending the plate in all directions, but it didn't move one bit.

I had to use a scraper to carefully lift each corner. That didn't help either. It was stuck.

After a few minutes it finally came off, but it sounded like I ripped the coating off from the metal plate.

Now there are dings on the plate from prying the print off.

Now I'm scared to use it again.

Is this normal? Should I use hair spray?

Put it in the freezer?

Original model

I downloaded this model which has an open bottom and auto supports for the neck. I closed the bottom of the model with a cylinder and merged the two together. Now the slicer won't generate supports no matter what I do.

Crosssection of modified model

Settings:
Support - on
Type - I tried all of them
On build plate only - off

Support critical regions only - off
Remove small overhangs - off

I played with top z and bottom z distance, manually painted supports, tried various settings but I can't get them to generate.

The print path for the neck starts from the middle of the model, printing into thin air, so I don't understand why the slicer doesn't understand that supports are needed.
