The characters not the actor (RIP to the og himself.)

Basically it reimagines the gods living in a rundown London townhouse. It depicts Apollo as a deceptive TV psychic, Aphrodite as a phone sex operator, and Artemis as a dog walker squabbling with a mortal couple called Alice and Neil. It almost had a movie but it bombed so badly at a film festival, people were calling it a “bad SNL sketch.” It ended up becoming lost media. Would’ve starred Christopher Walken as Zeus, Sharon Stone as Aphrodite, and Oliver Platt as Apollo.

Found out about in the Villains Wiki page their version of Apollo. When I tried to look for the movie, apparently it got canned for being a “bad SNL skit.” Basically in the book, Apollo was a sexual predator, in a sexual relationship with Aphrodite, Aphrodite apparently looks like a certain actress, Eros is a Christian, etc… While other part of me is glad it didn’t happen, the other wants to see the movie out of morbid curiosity. How the author portrayed the gods in the book is interesting to say the least:

Artemis:

•Tracksuit

•Dark hair that carelessly tied back 

•Blue tracksuit

•Looks like Apollo (fraternal twin)

Apollo:

•Tall

•Impossibly handsome

•Muscular frame

•Blond

•Pale

•Clear nail polish 

•Toga for his job, simple T-shirt and jeans as causal wear

Aphrodite: 

•Very beautiful 

•Ivory/Alabaster skin

•Slim, elegant hands

•Glossy black hair curling down to her shoulders

•Dainty feet 

•Looks like Catherine Zeta-Jones

Hephaestus:

•Hairy hands 

Dionysus: 

•Goat-like face

Athena:

•Glasses with plain lenses

•Serious, uptight nose 

Eros: 

•Neatly combed hair

•Pressed khaki trousers 

•Navy round-necked sweater 

•Green-and-white-striped shirt 

Demeter:

•Wide-brimmed hat

•Gardening gloves and boots

•Pale and disheveled 

Hermes:

•Slim, athletic form

•Tailored business suit

•Winged helmet and boots

•Young and handsome

•Elegant physique 

•Close-fitting pin-striped suit.

Hera:

•Hair the color of blackmail

•Spine straight as a guillotine 

•Face that could sink ships

•Cold, thin lips

Zeus:

•A face that was as yellowed and creased as the ancient pillowcase it leaned against.

•Dirty, long white hair that hung lifelessly by his head, hardened into clumps. 

•Sharp and fierce blue eyes that could cut through anything. 

•Skin so pale it’s almost gray with bulging purple purple veins. 

•Spindly legs

•New form: Muscular, gleaming, handsome man with shining eyes and flowing hair.

Charron:

•Blue overalls and cap

•Clammy, maggoty-white skin

Hades: 

•Gigantic and muscular; bursting with muscle.

•Black, waxy skin that looks burned.

•Glittering, unwelcoming eyes.

•Looked like the devil-he looked like death itself. 

Persephone: 

•Pretty and inconsequential.

•Tiny like a doll. 

Cerberus:

•Huge

•Black fur

•Body was a compressed ball of power ready to explode. 

•Each leg was like a tree, rooted in the iron curve of his claws. 

•A snake-tail

•Glowing red eyes

•Three identical sized heads

•Leathery lips

•Thick, foaming drool on teeth 

Styx:

•Long, straight black hair that flows like the river. 

•Sinewy black garment that twists into the river. 

•Slender arms 

•Greenish-white skin

•Black eyes and lips 

What do you think? Did you like the book? Do you wish the movie had happened or no?

Even though as a teen I did like this comic at one point, I just simply didn’t like how Demeter was portrayed in the comic. Maybe she could’ve been similar to Maurice from Beauty and the Beast, an eccentric hippie goddess who became desperate to save her daughter by any means necessary due to being mislead by someone about her daughter being kidnapped.

There‘s some designs I like (Hera, Persephone, Hades, Eros, Athena, and Poseidon, etc…) and there’s designs that didn't really hit with me (Zeus, Demeter, Prometheus, etc…)

Character is Robbie Rotten/Glanni Glaepur from LazyTown (Not the actor people, rest his soul.) Fun fact: on r/Valentino_Cult somebody (https://www.reddit.com/r/Valentino_Cult/comments/1szetid/human_valentino/) noticed how similar the Glanni version is to Valentino but what do you think? What would bro look like if he was in Hell?

•Large, dark eyes with long lashes that were captivating and intense. 

•Straight and proportionate nose

•Looks somewhere in her 30s to 40s

•Dusky complexion 

•Wears a floor-length, deep violet Grecian dress with a deep V-neckline with gray trimming that exposes most of her bust. Wears a black flowing hood on top.

•Towers over Hermes only 3 inches (Hermes is 6’2” while Hecate is 6’5”.)
