The new even has just been reverted. Seems that it being out was an accident?

We'll have to wait and see, but it seems like there was no intention to make the event live right now and it was released by mistake? That would however explain no official announcement or rewards.

The event was out for about a day and some hours and but now it has been replaced with the Curse of Comradeship weekly. Perhaps it's only being delayed and we'll still get it soon. But for now the release of the even seems to be accidental. Sorry for the redundant announcement!

Similar situation happened in Darktide, where the latest event has also appeared with out any news or announcement, however it came with rewards and stayed all the week. I assumed that it would be like that for Vermintide too, and that the absence of news was merely a result of most of the devs going on vacation. But it seems that was not the case.

This game is goofy, I love it

I started playing on and off recently and the thing that probably still keeps me in the game is the silly stuff you can make with your camp and character. And the occasional bounty quests like the one with a bunch of angry grandmas running and fist fighting you or scourched people somehow protesting and fighting with signs in their hands.

Just wanted to appreciate that.

Shooting for 80-100% of the map. Builds showcase.

Hello! This is a video showcasing ranged-oriented builds for evey character that allow you to play through maps mostly by shooting enemies and still never running out of ammo.

These examples were recorded deliberately with any ammo pick-ups being disabled on maps and me playing without other people or bots to help or sustain me on legendary difficulty.

This is not a "meta" build/true solo guide! I just wanted to show those who are interested or new to Vermintide that with certain builds the ranged combat becomes much less restricting and it is possible to continuously blast through maps without running out of ammunition on at least one career for every character in the game (base game, dlc not even included, there's an extra bit at the end to show some dlc careers).

In this video I often go out of my way to continue shooting even when better and safer option would be switching to melee. This is not my way of saying that it's a better playstyle/right thing to do! It's purely to test how much I can spam ranged weapons without running out and see the limits.

The point of the video is - if it is possible to shoot that much solo, not switching to melee on purpose and with no ammo pick-ups, then imagine how much blasting you can do while playing normally in regular missions! Hope this helps or at least may seem interesting for someone to try it out.
