Looking for some gaming friends

Hey everyone,

I'm a 20-year-old university student who recently bought a legion 5i rtx5060 paired with i7 14700hx. I originally got it for my engineering work and coursework, but I also wanted to get back into gaming.

The problem is, I've realized that playing games alone just isn't that enjoyable. Most of the time I end up closing the game after a while because it feels like something's missing. I don't really have a group of friends who game regularly, so I thought I'd try my luck here.

I'm looking for some laid-back people to play games with, whether it's co-op, competitive, or just hanging out in voice chat while we game. I'm not looking for anything overly serious—just people who enjoy gaming and having a good time.

English is my second language, but I understand it well and can communicate without any issues. My schedule is fairly flexible outside of university, so I'm happy to play whenever it works for everyone.

If you're in a similar situation or have room for another person in your group, feel free to leave a comment or send me a message.

Hopefully this is the start of making a few good gaming friends. Cheers!

Cs2 is simply not playeable

I recently began playing CS2, having logged less than 20 hours, on my brand new Legion 5i with an i7-14700HX processor and RTX 5060 graphics card. Initially, the gameplay was smooth, with settings on high at 1600p and frame rates ranging between 200-250. However, I encountered a significant issue as the game began to perform poorly, yielding unplayable frame rates such as 11, 15, and 30. In an attempt to resolve this, I tried various solutions, including uninstalling and reinstalling the game and even resetting the laptop, suspecting potential malware as the cause. Fortunately, after the reset, the game became playable once again, but this improvement was short-lived as the previous issues resurfaced. Could anyone provide assistance regarding this matter?

I am a university student and got my Legion 5i in brand new condition. Noticing the laptop, I saw this in a close-up view: the rear vents seemed to be out of symmetry. I tried to find the cause and it seemed to be designed that way, as you can see in the second photo. Is it defective by any chance?

The rest of the laptop, as expected, is indeed brand new.
