PSA: Don't lend people money

Unless you are ready to lose it...

People can make up whatever story they want, but you'll never know whether the money is for their mother's leukemia treatment or to bet on world cup

Would you guys ever lend someone else money?

Every time I seen a post in this subreddit or in r/asksingapore about lending money it seems like the lender always ends up in a bad position (be it lost a friend, lost their money or even both).

Curious whether everyone in this sub where we are all working towards some form of FI and presumably more financially conscious, would you lend someone else your money?

Is Sean Rash the only free agent that made a TV show this year?

Title. Could only remember him being on TV, technically Austin Grammar was a free agent before but believe he signed with Brunswick right before the show.

Is Zhongguo XLB (Chinatown complex) and Zhang Ji XLB (Alexandra village) stalls related in anyway?

Very curious about the similarities between these two hawker stalls. I'm a regular of Zhang Ji for a while and only tried zhongguo XLB recently but couldn't help notice the similarities.

  1. Other than prices, their menu is quite literally identical

  2. Theyre both closed on Mon and Tues (can't confirm for zhongguo xlb at chinatown complex going off Google maps)

  3. Their condiments taste identical (even the chilli oil)

  4. The guo tie is prepared identically

  5. They taste basically exactly the same

Anyone knows if they are related? If so why are they using different names?
