New to duckstation. Trying to figure how to play a lightgun game

I was between using my galaxy s25+ since i figured the specs were more than enough or a cheap laptop with questionable specs. (Im not sure what they are. Its either good enough or isn't)

The game im trying to play is Resident Evil: Dead Aim. The US release of the game had the light gun support cut. So i either need to figure out how to get a patched version of that or just settle with the PAL version. (Advice not needed but appriciated) on the latest version of duckstation from the google play store

The main thing im trying to figure out is how to either use a mouse Either on the pc or a smart phone. Or use the touchscreen in order to recreate the guncon. I have seen the gun con settings in the app but not sure how to translate that into touch screen controlls. I don't mind plugging the phone into a dock and just using a keyboard and mouse if needed. I am willing to swap to a computer if that is better suited to the task of trying to play lightgun games

Not a crt post but a recommended accessory

If you have a crt tv but it can't pick up any tv signals. Then you don't have a tv. You have a monitor. But this lets it be a tv again

Recently got one of these (not this exact model) and gotta say they are nice way of modernizing a crt. While also being usable on modern tvs. Since it has both hdmi and analog outputs

I have a couple of crts with digital tuners that can pick up modern broadcasts but this honestly is an upgrade compared to those. It scans all the available channels and loads them into a list. Has aspect ratio controls that really help becuase even if a channel is solely broadcasting 4:3 content they will still techically be in 16:9 most of the time. And a usb port that both lets you playback media but also usally record stuff. And if you want to also use it on a modern hdtv than you can.

They have a few different designs but they mostly are all the same device. I went with one that has a digital number display for the channels

Trying to find a map that can't be searched for?

I saw an interesting map that according to a friend can't actually be searched for and the only way for you to access it is for join another player on it. Or to invite you to it. Is there a place i can go to ask for an invite to this map?

So i was able to get the settings adjusted a bit and through a seperate launcher i was able to get this thing to work in 4:3 and have found a guide that should let me tool around with settings for the visual scale of the interface to fit the crt better. But even then the actual 4:3 source videos won't fill the screen proper. It does this with pc sources as well but my work around for that was to run things in a browser and run an extenstion called "Ultrawideo" that would force videos into shape regardless of settings.

My goal is too try and see if i can force something similar for the chromecast. A way of running any video it gets fullscreen regardless of aspect ratio. Ive already attempted using a browser but the extenstion won't work

Is there anything i could do to make this work? Hell if there is a launcher that does half the work and forces all videos to fill screen already that would be great
