Hey I need second opinion. 1 month riding /2k km after full service, rattling noise, something with valve.
Today I get message from the same garage that engine had oil starvation, one of your valves went, everything else is on point, meaning other 15 valves. Now need to order cylinder head, part is around 1100 eur. Would you hold this against the garage or it could be coincidence? The bike is 1000rr from 2011 with 45k km. During the previous service valves were done (8 were out of spec), with cam chain and other major service things.
Oil issue s1krr after 2k km after previous full service. Would the shop be liable for this hapenning?
And where would I stand legally? Or it’s too many kms after the service and they are not responsible?
I’m curious do you think adding something like these rays make it look a bit more “blended” with the arm. Do you think this is a good or a bad change?
The only thing I’ve done 4 week ago was fitted healtech quickshifter easy before taking it to track (after which the issues started)
I’m asking here because I took it to 3 different dealers and after plugging in the bike they are getting no fault code reading
Sounds like a chain or something along those lines. Left with a garage for now but they are also not sure and will be opening it up
I fitted aftermarket qs on my zx6, it would work perfectly 90% of the time, but I wasn’t happy with the remaining 10%. Now I only clutchless shift and have a great time again, but curious if it’s safe on a track? It goes smoothly when I do it so I guess it should be fine?
