Ik i wont get in the first list but what list cna i expect it to be in and when does that particular list come? Since after 10 days i wont be eligible for a full refund

Hi, i have a q when the merit lists are going to be released and lets say i dont get into cs in first list but get into some other so whtas the procedure? Do i have to pay an admission fee? How much is it and then what do we do after that, just wait? And if my name doesn’t come the fee goes null ?

Hi im very stressed with the net scene(engring btw) . I’m an alevel candidate and to make matters worse i started on 1st june
My alevel academics and basics are all amazing in maths and phy and ig my tests around mid july
I wanan choose a computing field and i have olevels equivalence of 93.36%
Nust is my only option and rn i got 131 in an flp and i havent done any of gr12 maths and all of phy
Idk what todo im so scared bcs barely any time left and onntop of that i have an online job type asw + i have todo some errands occasionally + i am soooo drained after alevels bcs it was so dragged and i gave sm time to it and bus prhai se bus hogai hai ab nai horaha mujhse sm things all at once ek toh ajeeb
Can u guys share any of ur story as an alevel kid or someone who studied for short time and ended up w an amazing net score (tell score asw pls) ill go crazy atp itna burnout feel horraha ans i still cant take a breather after alevels
And on top of that, i have this weird mindset, that sm ppl from pk are studying for it from 1 year how am i gonna do it in one month and sfore more than them? Thats limiting me asw idk why usually im the guybto think everythings possible butyeah and smth inside me says I’ll fail kuj ni hoga further makiing it worse

Hey! I’m an A-Level student from hyderabd deciding between FASTkarachi and Mehran University Hyderabad for CS, and I wanted an honest perspective from current FAST students/graduates.

My main concern is this:

* Does the university name really matter in CS, or do skills matter more in the long run?

* If someone from Mehran reaches the same skill level as a FAST student, will there still be a major salary gap because of the university brand/network?

* Are Mehran CS grads likely to get stuck in lower-paying jobs (30–40k range), or can they realistically reach the same high-paying opportunities with enough skill/work?

I’ve seen some FAST students/grads get strong internships, remote jobs, and even 150k–200k+ starting salaries, especially top students. Is that mainly because of FAST’s environment/reputation, or can students from smaller-city universities achieve the same with strong skills and portfolio?

Also regarding international opportunities:

* For Master’s abroad (ideally scholarships/fully funded), how much does the university matter?

* Do FAST students have a noticeably easier path for funded Master’s compared to Mehran students?

* For remote/international freelance jobs, do companies care much about university name, or mostly skills/experience/projects?

My parents agree for FAST

But idk what todo since they cant afford to rent a house for me in khi and wont allow for hostels bcs of mahol

They can afford around 80-100k per month w everything

But i dont think thats possible in this range or is it?

Or should i resort to commuting daily like 3-4 hrs one way?

Or will i ger wayy too exhusted
