"Your turn" in DT Missions

Hi there!

Quick question: how do you interpret "end of your turn" abilities in DT Missions? Like those of a Druid, for example. When exactly does your turn end?

As far as I am understand, it's after the crisis clock resolves, because it's the end of this one big turn for everyone. But I'm not sure

CMV: a state should not hinder private citizens to install ACs

It should not matter if you are an owner or a tenant. Access to Air Conditioning should be seen as a necessity just like having running water.

I live in Austria and I own a flat. I'm not allowed to install a split AC unless most owners of other flats agree (a very difficult challenge), this is a part of state regulations as far as I understand (not sure if my state or Austria-wide legislation). If I lived in a protected old house, that would have been even less possible. Because wall drilling is involved and that makes a facade look worse or something.

I disagree with this approach, I see it as a health and productivity issue that should be resolved and the rules should be relaxed. People care about facades more than about health risks and elderly dying, and this I do not understand. I also believe a middle ground can be found: uniform AC units that look nice or hidden somehow I don't care.

I'm ready to change my view if you show me that restricting split ACs is more beneficial to society than health and productivity.

Logging Game Series like Dice Throne on BGG

I have just received my copy of Dice Throne Vanguard and plan to play one of the new characters in a coop version of the game (Dice Throne Missions).

How would you log this on BGG or other tracking apps? Am I playing DT Vanguard? DT Missions? Both? But if both, it feels like double booking and it would mean I am logging playing more times this week/month than I actually did.

Not a huge life problem of course, but I'd love to hear your thoughts

Is it possible to learn German at C2 when you are in your 40s?

I've been learning German for many years and I've been living in Austria for many years. German is my 3rd language and I'm currently at the B2 level. It's enough to do everyday stuff, even enough to get the citizenship.

I use German every time I go outside: neighbours, doctors, shops etc. But not really at work because I work Sales and use English, my second language. Every time I'm using German at work, I'm dying inside: I make mistakes, I don't understand some sentences. I polished my English to the best possible level, C2, but I've been learning and using it since I was a kid. Is it possible to do that with German when you are in your 40s? I'm really struggling.

I have so much fear that I'll never get to the verhandlungssicheres Deutsch and will forever be limited in my work options. Has anyone managed to achieve a high level in their 40s?

I've recently had a job interview with a hiring manager and a CEO. It's a medium sized company in Germany and they also hire from other EU countries through EOR. I'm an immigrant in Austria, been here for more than 5 years and have many years of experience, including working now here in Austria.

At some point of the interview the CEO said he has a personal question for me and asked this question from the title. The exact words I do not remember but it was something like whether or not it was difficult for me to adapt to live and work here in Austria. I was a bit surprised so I said that not really, I have a lot of international experience, working across time zones attended a Uni in the UK etc. I also said that I like it here in Austria, I find it "gemütlich" (roughly translated as cozy). He smirked and said it was a stereotype about Austrians and it's weird that I said so. I got very confused becuase this concept was tought to me by my Austrian husband when I moved here.

I did not get a job. Could be because of this, could be because of other factors. But I cannot shake off this question.

How should I have answered? Should I have just mentioned the international experience without mentioning what I like about the country (not going personal)?

Upd: forgot to mention, I'm not from Europe
