Hello, Wear OS app with companion phone app to manage accounts. Display your TOTP codes directly on your watch.
thanks
Quick note on the price tag.
On the "Become a Tester" page, click the link that says "Download it on Google Play."When you click to "buy" it, Google will show a message: "Test card: Always approves" or "You will not be charged."This meaning 0 cost for you now and after the testing, by the group membership.
Hello,
A few more testers are needed for the closed testing requirement. give it a try! transform your watch into an authenticator
Steps to join closed testing:
On the "Become a Tester" page, click the link that says "Download it on Google Play."When you click to "buy" it, Google will show a message: "Test card: Always approves" or "You will not be charged."This meaning 0 cost for you now and after the testing, by the group membership.
Requires a Wear OS watch.
Hello there!
Testers needed for an off-line 2FA authenticator for WearOS
Thanks!
I built a TOTP authenticator that physically gates code access behind a watch bezel combination — closed beta, looking for security-minded testers
If you're in this sub you already know that "something you know" (password) plus "something you have" (TOTP code) is the baseline. RotarySafe adds a third factor that lives on your wrist.
The model: your TOTP secrets sit in an AES-256-GCM encrypted vault on your phone. To generate a code, you have to enter a rotary combination on your Wear OS watch — four steps, each a directional click count on the bezel, like a physical combination lock. Three wrong attempts and the vault hard-locks; clearing it requires biometric auth on the phone. The combination itself is hashed with PBKDF2 at 100k iterations and never stored in recoverable form. The app has no internet permission — it is physically incapable of phoning home.
The app is in closed testing and I want testers who will actually run it as their daily authenticator — edge cases only appear with real use.
Joining closed testing (three steps):
Wear OS watch required. Works with any standard TOTP account; Google Authenticator import built in; Argon2id-encrypted backup for account migration. Happy to go deeper on the security design in comments — nothing is hand-wavy here.
Your authenticator app displays 2FA codes to anyone who glances at your phone — I built one that requires a physical combination on your watch first
Most TOTP apps have a quiet problem: open the app, codes are right there. Anyone nearby who sees your screen — or grabs your unlocked phone for a second — has your 2FA codes.
RotarySafe works differently. Your codes are in an encrypted vault on your phone. To open that vault, you have to enter a physical rotary combination on your Wear OS watch — like dialing a safe. Four steps, each a number of clicks left or right on the watch bezel. Get it wrong three times and it locks until you clear it from your phone with your fingerprint.
The codes never appear on screen until the combination is correct. And since it holds no internet permission, nothing ever leaves your devices.
It's in closed testing right now and I'm looking for people who care about 2FA security to use it daily and give honest feedback.
To get access:

You'll need a Wear OS smartwatch — the physical combination is the whole security model, so it can't work without one. Imports from Google Authenticator if you want to move accounts over easily.
Built a Wear OS TOTP authenticator where the bezel combination is the vault key — closed testing, looking for daily users
I've been building RotarySafe for a while and it's finally in a shape where I need real users rather than just me testing on my own watch.
The concept: your 2FA codes live in an encrypted vault that only opens when you dial a four-step rotary combination on your watch bezel. It mirrors a physical combination lock — each step is a number of clicks left or right, zero is not valid, three wrong attempts triggers a hard lock. The app holds no internet permission; everything is local.
Technical details for those who care:
I'm specifically looking for people who will actually use it as their main authenticator, not just install it and forget it. Bugs that only appear in daily use are the interesting ones.

Requires a Wear OS watch.
RotarySafe: a 2FA app that uses your rotating bezel as a physical combination lock — closed beta testers wanted
Galaxy Watch users — this one was basically made for you.
RotarySafe is a TOTP authenticator that works like a safe. Before your 2FA codes appear, you have to twist the bezel in a four-step combination — a specific number of clicks clockwise or counter-clockwise per step. Get it wrong three times and the vault locks until you unlock it from your phone with biometrics.
The physical bezel isn't just a UI element here — it's the authentication mechanism. There's something genuinely tactile and satisfying about it, especially on watches where the bezel has real resistance.
It's in closed testing and I'm looking for Galaxy Watch users willing to run it as their daily authenticator and report back honestly.

You'll need both the phone and watch apps.
I turned my watch bezel into a physical combination lock for 2FA codes — looking for closed beta testers
So I had this idea: what if your smartwatch bezel worked like a safe dial? Twist it a specific sequence, and your TOTP codes unlock. Twist it wrong three times and the vault hard-locks until you clear it from your phone with biometrics.
That's RotarySafe. It's a Wear OS authenticator where the bezel is the key — four steps, each a number of clockwise or counter-clockwise clicks. No combination, no codes. The watch face shows nothing until you nail the sequence.
It's in closed testing now and I need people willing to actually use it day-to-day and tell me what breaks. A few things that might interest this crowd:

Happy to answer questions about how it works. Fair warning: it requires a Wear OS watch — the bezel IS the security layer, so there's no phone-only mode.
