no idea how financial aid works

hi guys. im a low income rising senior and i have no clue how financial aid works. my dad works in the coast guard and explained to me that i will receive some funding from the GI bill but i'm not sure how much. on the otherhand, i have some money from fafsa under the pell grant but i'm not sure if that is per semester or per year?

adding on to that, im expected to have 100% bright futures here in florida but i dont know how or if it will translate into out of state universities.

someone please help..

highschooler interested in going into the medical field

hi everyone! im a current junior (rising senior) and i begin researching universities to attend to, i wanted to ask some questions to people have gone through this experience themselves! how did y'all come to the conclusion of your major since med schools apparently do not require a specific major? also, what are the benefits of going into a bs/md program vs regular pre med journey?
