Alternator and battery replacement cost $960. Can I DIY it.

My mechanic friend pointed out a weird noise in my car and told me I needed to get it checked out. It's a 2013 toyota Rav4 xle (awd)Turns out I need a battery and a alternator replacement and the cheapest is $960. I'm thinking of doing it my self but family and friends begging me not to because it might not work. I ordered the tools and everything, just trying to do it myself. And maybe mechanic friend can help?? Advice please.

Looking to transfer to a new Publix

My current store that I work at had an incident(it's too recent and will give my store location away.) It left me and most of my fellow associates in shock. I can't bring myself to work at this current location anymore because of it.

I was looking to transfer stores and departments. I currently work in customer service and I'm training in pharmacy as a second class job. I couldn't fully change departments because it's full at my current store, but I want to completely switch over pharmacy at my next store. I don't think I can push through the training at my current store before transferring over and Id rather completely finish the training at my new store. Is this possible?
