My OC is Yururun Chinnami (鎮波 緩愛)

Name: 鎮波 緩愛

Name: Yururun Chinnami

Hero Name: The slime hero, Lime Jelly

Class: 1-A

Quirk: Slimify. She can transform parts of her body into a yellow-green liquid at will, like slime, because of a unique talent of spreading her body’s molecules out. With this talent, she can slimify and then enter tiny spaces, making her good at sneaking up on people. When well-hydrated, it’s easier for her to transform, while when she’s dry, she’ll have trouble. When in hot places, she loses control a bit and tends to turn into slime unintentionally, and in cold places, she gets a little stiff and finds it kinda hard to move quickly. The main drawback to her quirk is that whenever she reforms without her full mass in slime, she’ll end up smaller and weaker until she manages to reabsorb all of her mass.

Appearance: Pale skin, large chartreuse eyes, waist length lime colored hair in a very low pony(simple black hair tie) that’s always partly slime, 162cm, thin build with large thighs.

Personality: Yururun presents herself as smiley, easygoing, airheaded, ditsy, and lazy. She likes to tease people, makes a lot of jokes, forgets her assignments often, and occasionally sleeps in class. She seems fearless, but when one gets to know her, they realize she’s just putting on a brave face. Her smile is almost never genuine, unless she’s with people she truly knows love her, because she doubts anyone would love her if she wasn’t smiling for them. If she’s hurt, she’ll lie and say she’s okay, so she won’t be a burden. After doing this for so long, she’s quite skilled at her performance. She gets uncomfortable when things go off-script, despite her laidback persona. Oftentimes, being scared of arguing, she’ll say yes to conflicting things, putting her in awkward situations. She’s scared of people not wanting or liking her, and being useless. More than anything, she hates when people try to make the world bend around them, as if they’re the only thing that matters, and use others’ kindness for their own benefits.

Casual clothes: An off the shoulder white sweater, light chartreuse shorts, white sneakers with lime colored laces, a few lime bangles, and a white digital watch.

Hero Uniform:

-(OG)A tight fitting suit(so she can easily reform herself inside of it) with tank top straps, a zipper in front and a built in yellow green skirt(soft and flowy, reaches three-quarters down her thighs). The shirt of the suit is white, and below the miniskirt she wears dark green, skintight shorts. She wears black boots. There’s also a belt the same color as her hair, holding six small, transparent green water bottles in case she needs to hydrate. Her hands both have a sort of contraption around each, which looks like a water pistol covering her hand. This way, she can turn her hand to liquid and then shoot it at people with the pistol. However, the pistols jam after a couple shots, making them useless. The entirety of her costume is waterproof.

A tube connects one of them to her collar, which she can easily detach and drink from. Her hands both have a sort of contraption around each, which looks like a water pistol covering her hand. This way, she can turn her hand to liquid and then shoot it at people with the pistol. However, the pistols occasionally jam, making them useless. The entirety of her costume is waterproof.

Ultimate Move(s):

-Jelly Lace(she raises both of her arms, shooting slime forward from both in unpredictable patterns, seeming almost like lace when seen; she can’t use this move without her support items)

-Slip & Slide(she slimifies herself suddenly and entirely, becoming a large puddle and causing any reckless enemies to slip around, losing their balance)

-Oozing Restraints(she charges at her opponent, and moves through them, separating herself into handcuffs and bindings of slime to hold them still)

-Jellybean Tsunami(she transforms, either fully or just one body part, and sends it crashing forward like a wave; this can be used to knock enemies off their feet or escort innocents to safety)

-Total Slime(she transforms her body into a state halfway between her usual near liquid state and her solid one, becoming a sort of gelatin like substance, so she can bounce around without getting hurt much OR being susceptible to separation)

-Scatterflow(she explodes into thousands of small slime particles, enough to make it seem more like mist than slime, so that she can form some together and attack/restrain enemies from any angle, or she can do it simply to evade a powerful hit; this move is an all-out attack with little defense, and can be turned against her easily if the enemy is competent enough)

Fighting Style: Unpredictable and flowing. Her movements are like water, and while they aren’t the fastest or strongest, she can keep a villain off-balance fairly easily. She’s good at taking hits, since she can surge through them. To win against her, one would have to either catch her off guard, before she can slimify, OR, the easier method, separate her mass until she’s too weak to fight.

Backstory: She grew up with parents who were always fighting about everything — morality, politics, what to have for dinner, etc. She didn’t know how to resolve anything, so she would distract them, smiling all the while. They soon started to turn to her whenever they had problems, never seeing how it weighed on her. She started to believe that if she stopped, they wouldn’t love her anymore. At, school, too; she made everybody laugh and feel at ease, because she worried that if she didn’t, nobody would care for her at all.

Dorm: A huge, comfy bed; a fluffy carpet; light and airy; plush armchair; lots of bottles and cups with water scattered everywhere; overall very cozy.

The first time I saw it, I was four years old. It scared me. Everywhere I went, I heard people talking about what a masterpiece it was, how it was the most relaxing movie, how it was silly to be scared of something calm like that.

No Face terrified me so badly I couldn’t sleep.

The parents turning into pigs has haunted me for so long, and at the time, I stopped eating, thinking that it would make a pig.

The scene where the stair broke made me walk down stairs one foot at a time, never moving until both feet were safely on a step.

The proportions of the larger sprits versus Chihiro‘s human body were unsettling in some odd way.

The idea of getting lost and not turning back to this day makes me shiver.

And now, years later, I was still able to practically recreate the part where she crosses the bridge, because it made me so afraid. It has stuck with me. My memory is horrible, but I remember how this made me feel.

This is why this movie is beautiful.

Rewatching it, I can understand my fear, but I can also understand the happy parts, the sad parts, the quiet parts. Seeing Chihiro break down and cry again and again is so heartbreaking. The soot sprites are whimsical and make me laugh. “It’s me, Sen!” had me staring in shock. Everything in this movie means something, makes you feel something, and I’m so glad I can at least try to understand it now.

TL;DR: I’m a scaredy cat who has learned the wonder of Spirited Away.

So. First things first. I do not really play Zelda. I’m not a fan of fighting games in general, even Minecraft is too much for me.

However, BOTW and TOTK are beautiful, fascinating… and I love the horses and cooking, so I‘m constantly watching my dad play. Occasionally he’ll give me the controller while he goes to do something, and I’ll sell all his monster parts, cook ten meals, and then run around looking for purple horses.

Also, I started watching my dad play when I was quite young. Like, the age where I ran out of the room when there was a Blood Moon young. I was also a scaredy cat. And still am.

Anyway, one day when he was exploring some mountain or other in the middle of the day, I asked for the controller so I could chases foxes to look at them(don’t judge me please).

I was running up a hill, and then, in the corner of the screen, I see this black and red puddle appear out of nowhere.

With eyes.

And hands.

And the music changed and the sky turned red and that thing lunged towards me faster than I have ever seen any monster move.

I turned around and sprinted, but it was so close I still saw it behind me, the hands lunging forward. And the sky wouldn’t turn blue again and I forgot the pause button existed.

My dad quickly took the controller, and hopped off a cliff with the paraglider.

This was the first time me or my dad had ever encountered or even heard of a Gloom Hands.

And this is why I will always be scared of those freaky monsters! Thank you for reading, I needed to get this off my chest :3
