How do you rationalize John committing crimes in the Epilogue?

Recently, I’ve been replaying RDR2 before playing RDR1 for the first time. I love taking it slow in this game, enjoying the little things and all the small details, and playing it as realistically as I can.

Although, after getting to Chapter 4 or so I decided I’d take a shot at 100%ing it, so competing all the challenges and such. At that point I was still at Bandit 1 and hadn’t completed the other crime related challenges as I was doing a high honor Arthur play though, thinking it was too late in the game for Arthur to suddenly switch it up now and start mindlessly murdering and robbing people and all that crazy shit before turning a new leaf a chapter later LOL. Then, I thought I’d just complete the rest of the challenges in the epilogue.

After completing the main story, I could never really think of a good logical reason as to why John would start committing all these crimes again while being supposedly wanted in all these states, especially once he was trying to earn Abigail back and even more so, after >!they get married and John kills Micah.!<

So basically, I was wondering if anyone else had thought about this and had come up with their own reasoning as to why this would be? I know it’s just a game and I’m overthinking this, but this is just the way I like to enjoy this series, and I thought this was an interesting question nonetheless LOL.

TLDR: What is your reasoning as to why John would still commit crimes in the epilogue, even after >!killing Micah!< and >!getting married to Abigail?!<

PS: I haven’t played RDR1 yet and I don’t know the full story.

FlexChannel Logomark Feedback

I'm a new in house designer at a mid-sized company. Without giving away too many details, FlexChannel is a sub-brand/product brand owned by our company. They've never really worked with a graphic designer before, so I'm their first one.

Long story short, I gave the main person behind FlexChannel a questionnaire to fill out with me to use as our design brief. They didn't have any requirements for a specific style or styles to stay away from, mostly leaving it up to my interpretation off the brand (more in-depth info below). I'm not currently worried about colors though, as I'd like to have a logo that works well in black and white first before adding color.

For some context around what FlexChannel is, it is a service built around the needs of venues with multiple displays and media outputs, such as sports bars, casinos, event centers, etc. FlexChannel allows venue staff to quickly and easily find, route, and display their desired content through one service. Venues are also able to create layouts to be used for different times of day or special events, for example, game day layouts for sports bars.

Similar services to FlexChannel would be RTI, GameView, Crestron Control, and JustAddPower. What sets FlexChannel apart from these other services is it's easy to use and intuitive platform. FlexChannel is less focused on giving you endless features most venues won't care about and more focused on giving you confidence in your ability to use it.

My thoughts behind these logo designs was that I didn't want this product brand to potentially overshadow the parent company, so I wanted to keep the logo simple, also reflecting the service's simplicity and ease of use. I decided to make the type of the logo mark to be a simple lowercase sans serif (modified semi-bold Neulis Sans), to give it a friendly and inviting feel. As for its icon pairing, I had a lot of trouble during its design process, thus the multiple versions. My thought behind the first two was that the shape represents internet, wifi, signal, and connection. The shape is split in to three distinct pieces, I thought that could represent a channel, as in a channel of water going through land. Then because of the channels and the negative space they create, it creates a shape of the letter F (better seen in slide 2). For the design on slide 3, I thought that the two lines represented routing and connection while forming the basic shape of a lowercase F, although it has a lot of empty space.

Please let me know your thoughts. I feel like I'm on the crack pipe while typing this LOL. I've been working on this for the past few days, and I need some direction and feedback from fellow designers. 😭🙏

Is this a screen protector or does it come like this factory? Used DSi

While cleaning up an old DSi I had as a kid, to give to my younger sibling, I noticed this scratched-up film on the DSi’s lower screen. I’m wondering if this is some kind of screen protector or if this comes factory on every DSi?
