Worried about heavy metals, carcinogens ect.

For anyone else who eats edible clay, ordered from Etsy....are you worried about developing something terrible from everything that could be in the clay/dirt? I highly doubt the sellers test the product for heavy metals.

I am on my first day out from a MA. I know i still need to heal at this point. I am curious when you were ok to go into a body water after this?

Looking for support or advice

Hi, it's my first time using the MA method. I have two children already, one with a serious medical condition. I am 42, and it was a huge shock to learn that I was pregnant. I already took my first pill yesterday, and am heading home to take the remaining 4 soon. I am pretty nervous after reading some horror stories, and dreading the next phase. Can anyone help me feel more confident and less afraid of this? Thank you so much

Addicted to clay/dirt

It started during my second pregnancy. The smell and look of fresh dirt would make my mouth water. Then I discovered that I could buy edible clay from Etsy. I fell in love with the taste. The cravings went away for some time, maybe for about a yr or so, and came back around 6 months ago. I started buying it again. I've realized that I've been going through it fast, really fast. I became worried about intestinal blockage lately, so I started researching what could help me stop. Just yesterday I started taking iron supplements, so we shall see if that does the trick. But I am waiting on a clay delivery as we speak, and can't wait to eat it. Anyone else identify with thus?

This condition really sucks

Hi, new to the group. I just had a major flare up last night, which made me search for this community. My GERD started about 6 yrs ago. Of course when it first started happening, I suspected heart problems...I didn't know that indigestion could cause such pain. I went to my Dr, and she ordered an endoscopy to check for gallbladder trouble. This is when I learned of GERD. Mine presents with terrible pain between my rib cage, and also in my back. The pain gets so intense, that I will sometimes make myself throw up, just to empty my stomach. I suppose i feel like this helps empty my stomach of some acid, although I'm sure it's not the best idea. Anyway, it is comforting to know that I am not the only one who thinks they are dying when this happens lol. Even though I have been getting it for yrs, I still think it could be a heart attack. If anyone has any tricks that help them through the intense pain, please share. Thank you
