I know this is all splitting hairs and they’ll all be nice, but really can’t decide.

I have a rental car so getting around isn’t an issue but would rather use bicycles or something more portable.

Plan to spend a day beach hopping on bikes, a day at the jungle reserve and national park (by car to cahuita), lunches and dinners at different spots to try the cuisine, etc. Would just like to be central to most things with a focus on a nice beach close to our main stay.

Would Punta Uva put us too far to be able to go back and forth to our accommodation and different bars/restaurants?

okay with both airbnb and hotel, main hotel is looking at is namu hotel. anyone stay here? is it nice? there’s also banana azul in uva i think

Flying into SJO Oct 15. Won’t have time to drive, so gonna stay near the hotel, pick up rental car, rest. Oct 16 start an early drive to La Fortuna to maximize the day, check into Chachagua and take the day from there.

Now would you stay in La Fortuna until the 19th and use the 19th as the travel day to Puerto Viejo maybe? Or make that the 20th? It would be an early drive again to try and make it there by sundown.

The 23rd Id need to use as a travel day back to SJO since our flight on the 24th is very early.

So 16-19 in Fortuna and 19-23 in the Caribbean side? or 16-20 and 20-23?

Maybe a Miata, classic Benz, Jeep Cherokee or a Land Cruiser possibly? shiii maybe even a chrysler sebring convertible if that’s your vibe.

Curious on what people would choose, something to put miles on and enjoy the time in.

I’m very new and have seen a few of Pal2Techs videos but they don’t really mesh well with me. I find myself a bit uninterested when I watch some of his videos.

The best way I can describe it is that I can watch Kenji, Alton Brown, Matty Matheson videos on cooking all day, but people like Babish I can’t really sit through.

Any similar for photography? I’m trying to find someone that will cover EVERYTHING, from exposure triangle to different drive modes, etc.

I know pal2tech is basically this but maybe someone has some lesser known guru I can check out lol

I have a home charger set up (currently in a '18 model 3 performance with ~150k)

I would explore another Tesla but them getting rid of basic autopilot is a dealbreaker. I have lifetime FSD on my car right now, but have it disabled and just use the autosteer.

Needs:

• Quiet-ish cabin. I'm sure anything would be more quiet than the Model 3 at 80mph, but I want something that feels luxurious and quiet now.
• Lane keep/DCC on par with autopilot
• Sound system on par with the Tesla
• 300+ miles of range

Wants:

• Cooled seats

Considering:

• EQS
• Lucid Air GT (worried about the reliability of the brand/future parts/service for 40k annual miles, but this would be what I'd prefer)
• Open to all
