B1/B2 Visitor Interview Tips

I requested it 2 years ago because the company I worked for did yearly training in campus and they wanted me there. Because the system was so saturated my appointment ended up being a whole two years later.

In the interim, my company got sold to another company so the main reason is no longer valid but I would still like to have it just in case. Or to occasionally vacation (I’d love to visit LA).

How can I manage this in the interview?

Recommendations for Mixed Media Animation

Hi everyone, I am looking to invest in a simple multifunctonal printer + scanner that allows me to print images (i add 4 images in a word doc then print that, i don't need proffessional resolution or anything like that) and scan them. I am looking for something that's not pricey but will do the job. I do these type of works once every 4-7 months so I wouldn't be using it a lot. But when I do, I'd be printing 20+ pages at once with images in color.

Is the Canon G3170 or G2110 good enough?

Advice on an unexpected connection

A few weeks ago I met this guy on hinge who was about to arrive to my country and stay for a month in different cities. We’ve been talking non stop for two weeks. The first time we accidentally met (we both knew we’d be downtown just not where) we ended up walking around town until 3am, just taking. We saw each other again two days later, same thing time just flew by.

By this point you could feel that something big was going on between us. I also knew this would end once he left my city in less than a week. But I was willing to take the risk of pain as long as it meant spending every second we got together.

The date went AMAZING and we already had another date planned out two days later.

But the next morning I get a dm from him saying that we should call it quits because he was starting to feel emotional about us and he couldn’t allow himself to feel that way about someone who he’d end up leaving behind. We could still jeep in touch but he’d take some distance.

Long story short I understand his point but I am frustrated by him cutting it short instead of letting us enjoy the little time we had left together. I knew the end was coming. I knew we had to say goodbye but for me it was worth it.

I responded back saying that I respect his decision but that I would like for us to get a proper goodbye, meet at a cafe the next day for an hour and say our proper goodbyes.

24 hours later he only liked the message. No response.

I truly believe he is making a mistake. I also never had the chance to actually express my feelings.

Not sure what to do. This feels too big and too important to just move on and ignore. And I have always been the type of person who makes sure they do everything they can and once they know the outcome won’t change then I can peacefully let go knowing that I did everything that I could.

Ps. We are both in our 30s

Is there a way to get an Australian Phone Number so I can receive texts overseas?

I'm not from Australia and I wanted to check if there was any way to get a temporary phone number to receive 2FA texts. I tried amaysim but it looks like you need to be Australian and have a residence over there.

When to take pill supplements?

I am starting to take iron supplements but I am not sure at what time I should take the pills. I read that a lot of people take it at night on an empty stomach and with orange juice so they can get their dairy and coffee in the morning.

I have gastritis so I'm scared that taking them at night or very early in the morning before breakfast on an empty stomach will make things worse for me.

I tend to have a late breakfast, would it be fine to take them at midday, around 2 hours after drinking coffeee and dairy?
