ust pacific grand tower 2 reviews

hi po! i’m considering pacific grand tower 2 since it’s super near my building (gate 11 st. raymund) and i can literally wake up 30 mins before class. but i’ve been seeing a lot of bad reviews about pacific buildings, so i’m really hesitating. i also asked an agent about the reservation process (paste below). is this normal for condos to have a mandatory deduction if you won't renew?

“For reservation 2 months deposit + P3,000 facilitation fee then pdc for monthly rental. Sa 2 months deposit refundable siya 60 days upon move out pero may mandatory po kaming binabawas na P16,000 for repainting, general cleaning, plumming battery, faucet, shower head and lights kapag hindi na kayo mag rerenew."

i’m also considering other nearby buildings (still walking distance but a bit farther). if you have any suggestions for better or more reliable condos near gate 11 st. raymund, i would really appreciate it. any honest advice from seniors/tenants is highly appreciated. tysm po!

how to f1nd roommates

hello po! ask ko lang po sana how the process usually works when f1nding roommates.

i already have a building in mind po where i want to stay, but i don't have any roommates yet. i'm pl4nning po sana to look for them through fb.

do i need to find three other roommates po who are already sure, then meet up and choose the exact unit together in that building?

medyo nalilito lang po ako sa usual process, so i would really appreciate it po if anyone could share their experience or give some advice. tysm po!

ust gate 11 d0rms

• pacific suites

• pacific grand tower 1

• pacific grand tower 2

• espeña grand residences 1

hello po! i'm currently choosing between these four d0rms. my building is near gate 11, so location is a big factor since they're only about a 2–5 minute walk away. i'm planning to stay in a 4-pax unit. which one would you recommend? or do you have any other d0rm recommendations near gate 11?

also, does the view matter? one option (españa grand residences 1) has a view where you can actually see ust, and i feel like it'd be nice to look at when college gets overwhelming. the downside is it's farther from gate 11 and more expensive (it's fully furnished, so yeah). meanwhile, the pacific units are closer, convenient, and cheaper ('cause they're semi furnished with ac + bed frames only), so we'd have to buy the rest ourselves. what would you choose? tysm po!

focus on latin honors or pursue being a student leader?

hi po! incoming freshie here from the college of commerce. i’ve been a student leader for as long as i can remember, so leadership really feels like part of me already.

but i’m also aiming for latin honors, and i know how heavy the workload in ust can get. i’m torn between continuing as a class officer or joining organizations, or focusing more on academics, mental health, and actually enjoying college without burning out.

part of me doesn’t want to let go of leadership, but i’m also scared i might not be able to handle both at the same time.

to my seniors or anyone with experience, how did you manage being a student leader while aiming for latin honors? was it manageable for you, or did it become overwhelming in the long run? also, do you have any advice for someone in my situation?

i would really appreciate your insights. thank you so much!

DORMUS

Hi! Is Dormus a good option if my building is in St. Raymund's (Gate 11), or would it be better to find a d0rm around Dapitan instead? Thank you so much!

UST ID APPLICATION

Hello po. Wala pa po kasi akong uniform. Ask ko lang po sa mga senior ko here: naka-uniform na po ba kayo noong nagpasa ng photo para sa ID ninyo, o white shirt lang po? If white shirt po, mas okay ba ang plain white shirt or white collared shirt? Thank you po.

Academics or Leadership?

Incoming freshman po here! Do you think it’s a good idea to run as Class President (afaik, block section po kami for 4 years) and also join academic organizations? I’m aiming for Latin honors din po kasi, so medyo worried po ako if kakayanin bang pagsabayin ang heavy academics and leadership roles sa UST.

For seniors/graduates po, worth it po bang maging officer, or mas okay na pumili na lang ng isa and focus more on grades? Would really appreciate your advice and experiences po. Thank you po!

L00king for D0rm Near UST (Freshie!)

hello po. i’m a thomasian freshie and i just want to ask for advice on how to properly d0rm hunt around ust.

i’ve been checking fb groups and pages already, but i’ve heard there are a lot of scams, so i’m planning to do onsite viewing instead to stay safe.

right now, i’m considering pacific ocean 2 since it’s near my building. if anyone has info about it (price range, inclusions, rules, pros and cons, or personal experience), i would really appreciate it.

also, if you have any d0rm recommendations that are walking distance to ust, preferably good for 4 pax, please feel free to suggest po. thank you so much in advance.

Good day po. I would like to ask how to commute from Imus, Cavite to UST (University of Santo Tomas). What is the easiest or most convenient route to take? Also, how do I commute back from UST to Imus? Thank you po.

Is bringing a sibling in UST allowed?

Good evening. I would like to ask if family members, specifically my sibling, are allowed inside UST for submitting documents for confirmation of enrollment. Thank you.

Hi po. I’m planning to take BS Entrepreneurship at UST under the College of Commerce and Business Administration.

Ask ko lang po if may mga nakakapag-Latin honors sa program na ito? How difficult is it to graduate with Latin honors in UST, especially in business programs?

Baka po may Thomasians here or kahit from other universities na may idea or similar experience. I’d really appreciate your insights. Thank you po.
