I'm nearly done with the art museum on true cleaner mode and it is, by far, the worst challenge in the game. It stopped being funny awhile ago and I just want to get it over with.

But I just realized I didn't pick up this guitar and I can't get it out because I already moved the mannequin back. PLEASE tell me there's a way to get it out without restarting the level! I've tried hitting it with my mop and the power washer, and it moved slightly, but it's not working...

Went to a different Target than usual and they had a full box of mystery boxes! First one I opened was Nanette, last was Benny lol. I also found a Galileo in there but I didn't need three and Benny and Nanette were the last two I really wanted, having already gotten Erm and Borothy. If I see a Galileo in the wild again at some point I may grab him but he's not a need.

Super grateful you can easily check who's in each box and that the employee who saw me doing just that didn't care at all lol. Second pic is how to check, in case anyone doesn't know - just push the bottom of the box open, check who's inside from the bottom, and close it back up. You can do it so it looks like you weren't even there!

I've been debating getting Zinnia because I love her colors but wasn't sure I NEEDED another bigfoot. But then I found an upside down one today and had to get her lol. I like to display some of my bigfoots upsidedown so she's perfect! She's also a bit understuffed, and I tend to see those ones sitting in the shop forever waiting to be bought, but it's just how I like mine ☺️

Here she is on display beside my recliner, with her new buddy Ssstrawberry. They even match!

I don't officially collect Fugglers, but I have a few because I think they're cute. Saw a blindbox for clips of the alley cat Fugglers at Target today and couldn't resist!

I got Stinkface, who wasn't necessarily my first choice, but I love him! And Pumpkin also approves.

I wasn't expecting anything super fancy or nice from the box but he's really cute and very soft! His fur actually kind of feels like a short haired cat, it's similar to Pumpkin's (but softer and better maintained, Pumpkin is a lazy groomer lol)

Went to the aquarium with my cousin and Curly today! They were having an Animal Crossing event so we decided to check it out.

We got lots of cool pictures with lots of neat fish (and a caiman!) and the last pic is the new friends we found at Pop Mart and the Squishables store (which had a sale, I got these two for only $16!)

It was super fun but I realized when I got home that I forgot to get pictures of my cousin and I and only got ones of Curly and my mom was not happy 😅

Went to three Targets (1 yesterday and 2 today.)

First was sold out (despite me checking frequently somehow I missed them!)

Second had them but they are still on the palettes (sp?) and they couldn't find them.

Third one had them, also on the palette, but the employees were SOOO kind and went out of their way to open the palette and FOUND THEM!

I got three but got a double of the purple (her name is Borothy, I can't even 😭) so I'm gonna see if my cousin wants the extra since purple is her favorite color.

The stickers they come with are also super cute!

Also picked up Marie the French Toast yesterday because I couldn't resist 🥰

So glad I can relax now and stop hunting lol. But here's your tip to ask employees for help! I always feel like I'm bothering them but they were really helpful.

And, in other news, I guess the Nee-Doh craze is still going on. Apparently they were keeping all of them behind guest services and only selling one per household! My mom bought an extra for a lady who had her son with her and her daughter at home. I can only imagine if she'd gone home without the one for her daughter lol

But I went to Mall of America HOPING they'd have some left and they did and I couldn't help but buy two 😅 Got Coastal Vibes and After Rain! Their hair needs a bit of fixing up but they're so adorable!

Also, they came with tiny hairnets that wrap around their feet and it's so cute 😭

Got this little cutie in the mail today* ❤️ I've never ordered from this brand before and am always a little nervous when ordering from somewhere new but she's absolutely lovely! So soft and cute well made.

The brand is LuLuFun and she (her name is Rubii but I'm renaming her Amelia) is from their Bobo Nuts line. She's technically from a blind box (blind can? blind tin?) but the company lets you pick if you want a specific one! (I swear this isn't an ad, I'm just mentioning where she's from in case anyone is interested lol)

Anyway, this handsome creature startled me and my dog when I took her out to potty at 3 AM. We've got a pond out back that's full of turtles but I've only seen painted ones and this is, uh, not a painted turtle.

My exhaustive research (I Googled "turtles of Minnesota") led to believe it's a snapping turtle due to the longish tail (bad pics of it, I know) and mostly the big, meaty legs that the other turtles I saw pics of didn't seem to have (last pic has a decent view of them.)

But, obviously, I'm no expert! Just an animal lover who was extremely excited to see this chunky cutie and wants to know what exactly it was.

Randomized this cutie pie from two Maxis Sims (both from the gallery) and I absolutely love him! Didn't need to make a single edit, either. He was originally going to just be a childhood friend of my Sim but, IDK, now he may be her future hubby lol

But I'm curious if anyone can guess his parents! Like I said they're both Maxis gallery Sims, and I'll say he does take more after his mom than his dad. But if you guess his mom you can probably figure out his dad pretty quick!

I feel like all I see her are pip culture Miis or (rarely) Miis made to look like the person/their friends or family, but I'm curious if anyone else just played around in the Mii maker until they came up with characters they liked and went from there?

Here's my island ATM. I started with 16 Miis (one for each personality) and have since had 4 children born. No one's based off of anyone IRL or from the media, though I did scroll through some places where people shared their Miis to get a little inspiration.

This is the same way I played the 3DS game and the way I planned to play this one. I figured most people would make Miis based off of characters but I have yet to see anyone who just made up characters like me and I'm lind of surprised lol

I'm working on a butterfly conservatory on the Myshuno Meadows lot and am struggling with some troublesome windows. In the first pic you see straight down the middle. Each side of the interior walls are lined with windows. The windows on the upper left wall, for some inexplicable reason, are not transparent. As far as I can tell, the wall setup is identical to the ones on the upper right wall,which are transparent. Second pic shows the windows how they should look on the right side, third pic is how they shouldn't look (but do) on the left. Fourth slide is just my progress on the lot so far, if anyone eas curious.

Does anyone know how to make all the windows transparent? Or have any ideas? I don't use mods or CC and am not going to, so please no suggestions that require it.

From left to right meet Smoothie the Strawberry Crocodile, Tapioca the Tapir, and Trolli the Gummy Worm! Found Trolli at Barnes and Noble and got the other two from the recent BOGO sale.

The two I ordered from the same arrived today and I'm happy but also kind of disappointed. For context, I didn't used to buy Squishables because they were rock hard and didn't feel as soft as they are now, but lately I've noticed they seem to be softer and squishier (and actually squishable, go figure) so I've bought some as I love the designs. I was most excited about the Tapir because it was so cute online but when she arrived today she was rock hard and not as soft as the others 🙁 Does anyone know if there's a way to somehow make her squishier (that doesn't involve opening her up because I can't sew)? She's so cute but just not very pleasant to cuddle and it's really bumming me out. I don't want her to be doomed to life in a shelf but I don't onow what to do.
