Are we doing crackships? I have a couple fun ones!

NapTime works for me because Link's always had sort of a thing for fish-women, and Ellen seems like the type who'd appreciate a boyfriend who could hold his own in a fight, but wouldn't ever talk down to her. He'd probably enjoy playing music for her and wouldn't mind when she falls asleep on his shoulder.

EyesCream I think would bond over mischievous criminal acts and their shared hatred of their families. Neo would also probably project a lot of her late beloved Roman Torchwick onto Hugo, especially with him using what's essentially an icy blue Crescent Rose; he's like a cooler, more capable Roman. Plus, he's already used to working with unhinged short women wielding parasols that have cane swords in them.

If you hate it that much, you don't have to see it.

Tons of other users post lots of different content. You can choose to make that all you see with a few simple clicks.

Because sometimes it's just fun to share

Runner-up for Agent I'm Looking Forward To goes to Severian. He's great, but I'm reserving judgment until we know how he fights.

Grace: Lock this creep away already, she's a genuine public menace (also her kit still sucks)

Vivian: Hardworking and noble. Deserves her happy ending. ^(ViviBelle 4 lyfe)

Echoes of Silver: A beautiful tragedy with an imperfect ending that feels like a realistic consequence of character conflicts. 10/10. Still feeling it to this day.

1.7 Bury Your Tears With the Past: Emotional satisfaction at its best. Took me on a massive roller coaster ride that had me loving, hating, and then back to loving Hugo, and its emotional climax contains wisdom I still carry with me.

Pretty sure this is my best score yet, even since I was a pup! It's good to be flying again.

Similar characters with similar styles, one from a setting that is culturally downstream from the other. The question is, knockoff or upgrade? Each series' respective subreddits were less than helpful, so I bring the question here in hope of serious thought.

Arena: Abandoned town outskirts. Large area, semi-open, varied terrain but no significant hazards. Some solid cover, some concealment.

Setup: No preparation, no assistance. An accidental meeting that nonetheless initiates a nothing-held-back duel.

Win condition: Death, yield, or flee the field.

About Miyabi:
•Trained in nearly every weapon style since childhood. Never stops training, even if she has to stretch the definition of "training" quite a bit.
•Wielder of Tailless, a katana possessed by a demonic spirit filled with murderous intent which she actively and constantly refuses.
•Void Hunter, one of the strongest warriors in her home canon. Capable of cleaving through enemies, buildings, and dimensional rifts.
•Ice abilities mostly sourced from her w-engine (an item that manipulates special atmospheric particles to create elemental effects)
•Dueled another Void Hunter to a stalemate, with the fight being so intense it broke the simulation the fight was happening in. So powerful the game's developers have done everything they can to make her less effective against bosses since her release (it doesn't quite work). Undefeated in canon.
•Basically Vergil from Devil May Cry if he was a neurodivergent fox woman.

About Raven:
•Raised by the Branwen tribe, a clan of bandits with a philosophy of "The Weak die, the Strong live." Sent to Beacon Academy in her youth in order to become an anti-Huntress because the clan wanted a counter to Huntsmen interfering with their raids.
•Wielder of Omen, a Dust-infused ōdachi that can swap elemental abilities through a rotary mechanism in its scabbard.
DEFINITELY willing to kill.
•Bearer of the Spring Maiden's power. Magical elemental ability with no on-screen upper limit and no apparent resource cost. Usable even while exhausted. Any element, any time. Demonstrated abilities include creation of oversized weapons, flight, storm creation, and freezing an opponent solid.
•Defeated another Maiden (the series's secondary antagonist) in combat. Undefeated in canon.
•Aura gives her minor protection/healing, plus a portal ability that allows her to travel to any person she's bonded to. Usually used for escape.
•Human, but has the magic-based ability to transform into a bird.

In a straight, nothing-held-back fight, which overpowered swordswoman would come out on top?

•Basically Vergil from Devil May Cry if he was an autistic fox woman.

Mr. Click walking across the street to 141 during the photo event despite being a sentient camera with no legs. Black Wolf Romuel spitting on the ground in front of the Proxy even though he wears a mask at all times. Ethereals suddenly leaving corpses just so we can find someone who left them even though they've ALWAYS fuzzed out into static when killed, even in cutscenes.

I'm not even sure I could call this careless writing, because sometimes it seems that the action of a scene hinges on these impossible things that defy obvious logic, but they just happen and then nobody says anything about them. What's up with it?

One of my favorite things to do is trying out new weapons that fit the way I fight, but so far every single one has been a bust and I keep just falling back on the vanilla greatsword. It feels like there's always something wrong with the blade profile; they cut like a baseball bat, they can't stab properly, they stab accidentally all the time, the tip of the blade lacks collision, they're way too tip-heavy, it's always something. My kingdom for a functional odachi or miaodao!

Am I just picking bad mods, or has anyone else had this problem? I really want to switch up what I use, but everything always seems to underperform. If it is just a selection problem, anyone have any recommendations?
