Showcasing Crit Ranged Build on Leagues

Decided to combine lots of boss footages into a single video to showcase this Big Boned Unholy Critual Build.

The idea of the build was to take advantage of the number of hitsplats ranged does including ecb hitsplats that get boosted by Big Boned.

With bow of the last guardian, the infernos of Zamorak adds to bolg stacks which means they also can proc bolg passive which is boosted by bigoned. And their hits contribute to ecb which is also boosted by big boned. They also contribute to imbue: shadow adrenaline gain so it makes dark bow easier to spam.

The downside is that I didn't pick desert so I am missing SGB, Gloomfire, and GWD2 components.

But overall, it was a fun experience.

Trying to play Interrupt Frustration Ranger in Alliance Battles

A while back I posted a build using Marskman's Wager and rupt spam. Though that one was specific to the Fort Aspenwood environment where I needed to be self sufficient.

In Alliance Battles, I can rely on a monk for hex removal. Still brought antidote signet for blinding flash spammers.

Every bow build I have attempted in past Alliance Battles just never vibed correctly with me or makes me feel completely useless/helpless. This one felt like it vibed with my playstyle and I'm quite happy about it.

The idea is Frustration to make it easier to rupt and Imagined Burden to pick on stragglers, those that dash back and forth to dodge arrows, or simply to stack on top of pinned down.

I took Inspiration from Wark from Guild Wars Discord so shoutout to them.

Reaper's Sweep in PVP Fort Aspenwood

Back to my tradition of stealing builds from PVE enemy. This time, I am stealing from Ministry Zealots from the Ministry of Purity Winds of Change enemies. Though I doubt Magentic Aura would be useful so I made one minor adjustment.

I learned Reaper's Sweep apparently got a very unique attack animation. Now I am super inexperienced with Dervish (let alone knowing what skills they even have) so this being the first dps Dervish build in pvp for me was a fun experience.

Reaper's Sweep is a 3 second knockdown which goes well with Aftershock. Shield of Force also applies knockdown, effective against those annoying Luxon Warriors.

Overall, the kurzick heals carried my frontline survivability.
Usually I always thought avatar elites were great elites for Dervishes but didn't think a non avatar elite would perform well.

Sharing my Small PoH

Sadly I'm 110 construction so I'm restricted to 250 furniture but even then, another 50 may not be enough. Even going up to 400 might not get the dream home I wanted to build.

The idea was to live in a "small" hunting cabin in the middle of a forested area. A fairy forested area.
Trees and pathways took up so much of my furniture limit.

I didn't make the poh to be functionally efficient but only to look good. Gotta work with what I got.

Half of my plot is empty space and I'm 250/250 haha.

RuneScape House Update so I went decorating and sharing

Sadly there's a furniture limit and I can't continue :(
The idea was a small house in an area surrounded by a "fairy forest"

Marksman Wager is actually interesting in PVP

I didn't think I would use Marksman Wager ever and here I am using it.
It made concussion shot actually usable to spam along with savage shot. So the first thing I did is to take that Magebane Interrupt Build and now be able to apply Daze assuming I land it.

I also did a variant where I included Frustration. The possibilities with this Elite just opened up in my head. I'm thinking it is possible that I can be an interrupter and a pseudo healer with this build.

Will definitely toy around with this elite more next Fort Aspenwood weekend.
Of course block/miss/dodge will remain my arch nemesis cause I lose 10 energy if I miss. Put trust in the recurve bow.

Skill Gambling PVP Build in Fort Aspenwood

Signet of Illusions allows any non illusion spells to use your illusion attribute stats which in this case, it's level 16.

So every skill you may use in a game will be different. One game you may got a level 16 meteor or a level 16 lightning surge or a level 16 word of healing. I've even manage to create a flesh golem at level 16 illusion magic in another game. So sometimes I can choose to be a discount healer, a discount elementalist, or a discount hexer.

Energy management is very solid and I can remove 2 hexes, 2 enchantments, and still maintain the power of skill stealing.

The mantra of earth is to reduce the turtle damage which helps a lot.

I am still at the mercy of what Luxon players will bring andwhat RNG decides what skills I'm stealing. I may not have the APM to maximize it fully but it was still very fun.

Battle Rage Symbolic Strike PVP in Fort Aspenwood

Last year I did quite a goofy build with Symbolic Strike with Bull's Charge but inbetween last year and this year, Bull's Charge got a "nerf" where it lasts shorter but has a shorter recharge time. IMO, that nerfed that build so I had to come up with something else.

I decided to follow an old youtube comment and gave Battle Rage + Symbolic Strike a try. Chain Combo boosts your damage by 5% each time you use a skill that's a different attribute up to 30%. With Symbolic Strike, I can hit up to 177 damage. With an additional signet, I've seen 210 damage but that's a bit greedy.

Last year I used ranger for the antidote signet and the extra poison condition but with the recent change to Mighty Throw, Insidious Parasite and Spiteful Spirit became so frequent that I came up with an anti-hex version. It still clears condition but not as good as Antidote Signet sadly. So it's a gamble with Purge Signet.

GM Arch-Glacor with Ranged

I'm not sure how difficult it is to achieve this since the combat update but I can say I did it, just barely. And I don't wish to ever do high enrage arch-glacor again.

This is probably the final grandmaster speed timer I am capable of doing in ranged only.

The remaining ones seems are either locked behind group(AOD, Amascut, Vorago, Solak) or is the one that I really don't like which is Telos. Having to do it in 4K, not only do I struggle doing it in 1K, needing to do that while fighting for my life, I just don't think I can do it.

Add Prismatic Dyes to the Marketplace

A while back I changed one of my dyed colours in my Wardrobe and then I realized, I couldn't get more.. they didn't add it to the Marketplace since the removal of solomons...

Can they be added back? Keepsake keys were there and Chameleon Extracts for some time came from the Makeover Mage.

4000% Arch Glacor with Ranged Only

Last week, finally completed for what I would consider the most difficult 4K solo boss for me(4K cat is harder). This is because again, prayer flicking during Flurry is responsible for most of my deaths.

Purely style camping which means bad rng can make the situation sketchy or even hard to salvage. My least favourite is back to back Flurry and Minions, that's a nightmare.

Arms is another potential problem but at one point, I did show I was able to kill it without swiftness and imbue. And not in this clip but if it's arms and minions, with imbue:shadow, I just see free gloomfire spam.

New Pet AI is disobedient

This is specifically for PVP in FA. Before the new changes in AI, usually I have the pet UI open so I will tell the pet to attack this target.

WHY DID it attack the 60 armour. Then when I tell it to go attack the 100 armour suit, my pet takes its sweet time to change targets, come on.

Completed Fight Caves

I went in there on my first try. I was very scared cause at one point, the durability on my armour and weapons started to break. I brought enough supplies for food, water, rest, ammo, runes to ensure I won't run out.

But even then I was worried. Very happy to say, victory.

GM Seiryu with Only Ranged

Manage to achieve GM Seiryu using only ranged, no hybrid involved.

Though this attempt came with blunders. The first time I got it for real with 57.6 kill time.. I FORGOT to hit record and then 5 hours later (had other things to do inbetween) I finally got it again.

Two kills I blundered through game mechanics. One kill I darted Masuta impatiently but apparently this affects the entire dungeon. Second if you tele while the last crystal dies, the timer keeps going up until you arrive at wars...

Either way, I was quite annoyed at myself for forgetting to hit record.

Crippling Shot Spammer at Fort Aspenwood

Definitely on the weaker side for both damage and interrupting compared to my previous post on quick shot interrupter build. Using the same idea though, instead, I'm non stop applying cripple on luxons, discouraging certain green gate rushers.

And also against people that love to rely on block. Can't block this.

I did consider poison tip signet instead of antidote signet but losing the signet was too annoying. I also considered serpent's quickness over healing spring at one point to have faster cripshots but self-healing and potential to heal npcs was pretty valuable that I kept it.

Silly Quickshot Build in Fort Aspenwood

A while back, Quick Shot was buffed to have a less activation time which was what I was looking for. As well as less recharge time.
I always wanted a skill I can spam for ranger. I've always had a hard time trying to make some sort of bow build work on FA for me. (because I am very terrible at timing rupts)

Initially I tried to do some ignite arrow build and a conjure frost build. It just doesn't feel like I deal enough burst damage even though I was spamming it. Turtles also removes enchantments which complicated things. I tried playing around with Wailing Weapon which worked well against physical attackers I found but not so much against casters. and was helpless against them. So I added Warmonger's Weapon and Choking Gas and started to enjoy this build as I was interrupting casters quite frequently.

Sure, it doesn't pack a punch and it doesn't apply a bunch of conditions but surely annoys those that are trying to use many abilities in succession.
