Power Supply knew I was leaving for a week.

How does computer hardware know when you are about to leave for a week and chooses the night before to die? Every major failure...just why.

Anyway, glad I had the ps from my prior box to carry me for the week. For those that purchased a replacement power supply, did you buy from synology directly along with their outrageous shipping fees or did you purchase elsewhere? I'm in the market...

VPN connection drops when running qBit and Arr Stack on the same gluetun instance

Yes I know it's not recommend to run the Arr Stack over a VPN. If qBit and Radarr/Sonarr are setup on the same gluetun instance, there are frequent VPN disconnects. This is all on the same docker compose. VPN is Nord with wireguard but also happens with openvpn. If the stack is split with qBit under it's own separate gluetun instance, everything is stable. Many configuration options have been tried, does anyone have any ideas why this might be happening?

Teleport not finding Unifi DNS entries

While using teleport to access my home network remotely, I'm unable to get my remote windows PC to find the local DNS entries I've setup on Unifi. These all point to a reverse proxy server for accessing my local apps. Is there any simple tricks to make this work or has anyone found another VPN setup that will use local DNS entries?

Who is using Optimization?

I know there are loads of discussions about transcoding and handbreak and tdarr. Why are folks not choosing to use plex optimization? Are you seeing a quality issue? Space concerns? Just curious.

Root folder management?

Has anyone found a good tool for moving movies between root folders based on radarr data like genre, language, or imdb/tmdb ratings?

EDIT: Some more infonon why. You can control user access in plex at a library level making it easy to put all movies with a family genre in a seperate root folder and hence library. If movies have low ratings or votes, move them to another root folder, unmonitor and delete anything already downloaded to save space. Maybe others have found better ways to manage all this but this action works well, I just want to find some automation.

How to best maintain my separate Custom Formats and Quality Profiles?

As I've said on past posts, I love Profilarr and the new v2 release is just great. I did find out the hard way that the cleanup function will wipe out my own Custom Formats even though they were using in my quality profiles. What is the best way to maintain my own configs but ALSO still use the profilarr Dictionary Quality Profiles? I know I can add them to Profilarr but will those be retained if I ever need to wipe the Dictionary link and redo the setup? Do I need to create my own setup with the new PCD Template option? If I do this will I still be able to use the Dictionary profiles on the same radarr instance?

This code collaboration is all new to me so pardon my lack of understanding, I'm looking to learn best practices.

"Languages" always highlighted like it's not meeting my language requirements, how do I fix this?

In both Radarr and Sonarr, I always see "Languages" highlighted indicating the release language does not meet my language requirements. I see this highlighting on Quality when something is a lower resolution than desired in that quality profile which makes sense to me. I can't find any place to fix in settings. I know Radarr has a language option in a quality profile but Sonarr doesn't and even when I set the language to English in the radarr quality profile the release having a language of English is still highlighted. Is anyone else seeing this or have you found how to fix/correct?

I have a docker container in my DMZ VLAN which needs access to a few containers that are hosted in my core/main VLAN. What would be a more secure way to enable access then just poking holes in my firewall? Is it worth deploying a Nginx Proxy Manager in my core network that enables DMZ access to select apps? Am I over thinking this?

Let me start by saying I know the usual settings to change to push a plex client to NOT transcode. This Sony TV is powered by Google TV, the key plex TV apps settings are in the second picture. Why on earth would a NEW TV need transcoding for a H.264 1080p MKV?

I've been racking my brain on this because these setting changes have always eliminated transcoding countless other times. This issue is not limited to this one movie, it's happening on most in my library for this TV. Yes I know the TV apps suck. Yes I know a NVIDIA Shield would be better to use. I want to ask if others have found a fix for Google TV Plex apps that does not involve hardware replacement or reencoding? This seems to be a recent issue in the past week but PMS has not been updated since mid March. The PMS server is Version 4.159.0.

Thank you in advance for any tips. Dr. Gemeni is not helping...or I'm tired and unable to ask the right questions.
