I have been TTC my second for 15 months. I’ve done 5 rounds of 2.5 letrozole (ovulate every time) and am currently 7DPO on my first round of 5mg.

I’ve had 3 vvvvvv early losses since last November. We had an initial fertility specialist who said she felt confident the higher dose of letrozole would do the trick.

I met with my OB/GYN and- in a very rushed appt- she said she wanted to do a hysteroscopy, d&c, HSG and laparoscopy. I said yes, although there were no findings on the ultrasound and I have 0 endo symptoms. I’m 3 days out from the surgery and will be 10DPO the morning of the surgery and I’m really thinking about delaying/ canceling. Thoughts???

Fertility question…

TLDR: do I really need to do a monitored cycle?

I have low AMH- 0.08 but all other labs look good. I had a spontaneous conception in September 2023 and delivered my daughter in April 2024 while my AMH was 0.3.

I started taking letrozole 2.5 in December. I want to say we did it for four or five cycles and I ovulated each cycle (confirmed with Oura and progesterone labs). I’ve had three chemical pregnancies since November, two of them while taking the medicine. I’m not sure if I should continue with a clinic. For financial reasons we are not able to do IUI or IVF. My PCP gave me a script for 5 mg of letrozole so I’m tempted to just try at home. Truly what are the benefits of them tracking in the office? I understand a trigger shot but can’t we just have time to intercourse? And as far as AFC goes… I panicked about my AMH before I had my daughter and was able to conceive so I’m not really sure if an AFC will do anything if we do not plan to do IUI or IVF.

Thoughts?
