Some fans can genuinely enjoy the variety of games on Switch 2, while others can feel like they’re missing the big Nintendo franchises they love and wish for a new 3D Mario, Zelda, or Smash. Both perspectives are valid. You shouldn’t be ripped to pieces, told to “play more games,” or gatekept with comments like “you only play 2–3 franchises” just because you want a certain type of Nintendo game. Fans are allowed to enjoy what’s there and ask for what they want next.

This is just comes off as toxic, petty, and jealous of bigger franchises getting more demand

And fans 100% have a point and are justified to because it’s been too long since the last ones:

It’s been nine years since the last 3d Mario and no 3 hours dlc bowsers fury doesn’t count

It might as well be nine years since the last 3d Zelda since tears of the kingdom reused the same map unlike majoras mask

It’s been eight years since the last smash bros

It’s been seven years since the last Luigi’s mansion
